Niko Knows Tech youtuber has a short video on how to remove the bloat of nvidia installers and just install the part that you want/need lss you install 2 free apps, 1 completely uninstalls video drivers and everything associated, 2nd one creates the custom 'package' for nvidia and installs it
[for example i went from having 11 nvidia processes to 2 one being the classic nvidia control panel it freed up some ram, gpu and cpu usage and eliminated 2 consistent crashes i get, wholly unrelated to renpy but you never know] the uninstaller can uninstall intel and amd stuff too.

you're mistaking what i'm talkin' about. Only RLE crashes for me depending on which renderer I use, hence why I'm using the current one which doesn't crash & I don't remember atm which one it was. My asking for advice was which rendered, when selected in Ren'py or the game itself is bein' played.

Leave it to my favorite forum of degenerates to remind me of an edutainment-classic from way back that I thought only like a dozen people still remember.

Btw they still run flawlessly on modern systems and are on steam and, iirc, gog .. ^^"

Math Blaster was the shit. I don't know where my physical copy of that and Zoombinis are, but I still have the Windows 95 era Packard Bell desktop in my basement.

I know exactly where my physical copy is, but I'd have to search for my external drive to use it ... kinda crazy to see how technology advanced so fast, entire systems were developed and became redundant within just one or two decades .. :unsure:

There was a mod that added like, additional clothes and stuff to the character. Does anyone remember what happened to that?
