Is this game realistic, about real China in the past or this will have elements of magic, with fox-girls, ayakashi girls, ghost girls and more?

Training is just bonus points, as far as I know you can't "win" it unless you are close to the max heart status already.

You can win it actually. But beside increase heart point during the quest, once you have completed the character it serve nothing - no rewards, just a minigame. But depend on the position of the character and you will need extra move + proper use on whips.

Anyone ran into blank main menu issue?
The third time I launch the game, the main menu isn't showing, I'm basically stuck in a red-ish black screen and the flower petal cursor.

I'd fixed my own issue.
Apparently the issue was caused by myself renaming the game folder. I'd added a [ ] to tag many of my game folder, and doing this seems to have issue with this specific game. Removing it makes it works again.
Leaving it here for if anyone bumps into this in the future.
