Wow I haven't touched this one in a long time, I remember how clunky and janky the entire game was. After replaying it, I was surprised most of the issues I had were mostly gone. The awkward stiff interaction animations, the English translation is still weird, and it's still a walk/run simulator. Also applying cheats is sort of unintuitive, they could have just simply added buttons for each cheat. Instead of type what's on the cheat list and having to click on the text box every single time a cheat is entered.
BUT with the addition of cheats to remove much of the grind. Your character actually runs and can jump significantly removes much of the clunky controls! I am actually enjoying this updated version than at launch. Pleasantly surprised. I hope for more updates in the future.

Try removing the game folder from the properties "read only". And check if the computer requirements are suitable. Well, and as a last resort, update the drivers.

100% saves v1.3.1 all memory unlocked, put it in C:\Users\[YOUR NAME]\AppData\LocalLow\Salamander\RE
Is there any way to replay the sub scenes of other characters (not the between MC and heroines)?
Is there a way to skip the mini games? The first few are ok, even more since they don't matter much. But the one you have to clock a/d and spacebar are annoying and you need to succeed to progress. And the keep getting more annoying, I've only done the first of the spacebar minigames so not sure if it's the same here, the a/d you need to complete 3 times at first and the last one I completed you needed to do it 4 times and they were much more complicated, the bar kept moving way too much, a few time I was almost done and then it went down too much because of how hard it was to align the arrow.
