I don't think they intended a sims-like to begin with. This game is all about to unlock H scene dedicated to specific room. You need to fil stats and build relationship to fil all the prerequisites, there is eventually 2 special scene per job. Enventually if you want sex between more character you can save the card thanks to the editor and use them in free H.

The game is all about to recycle animation and to dispatch them in a immersive situation, this is all about visual, mechanic are here to give some context. The game is very confusing because there is acutally no purpose and the game doesn't say if you achieve goal beside unlocking girl room. Maybe it is somewhat inspirated by House Party, haven't played it both more look more about sex scene build over some basic way.

Very true, it's more or less just a sex-sim. And a very easy one too: "Talk about work", "Talk about hobbies", "Become friend", "Confess" and you can H already. All in 2 minutes.

That's why I loved AI-Shoujo so much (played hundreds of hours). That game had purpose, meaning, reason, progress, achievements and even an ending. And you had to progress with the girls in order to H or unlock positions, and they actually changed their character in the way you treated them. And when you got tired of H-ing or gathering/crafting items, you could build and decorate houses for hours in between. To me it's the only REAL game out there.

Possible, but I can't stand the graphism. Look like a MS-DOS game, probably some asset of TeaTime. Like KK, I feel sorry there is not male npc too. I want to test RG with a true POV mod like the on with kplug, where you can see the character doing things, talking with other npc, because here the graphism are really nice and the protagonist can do various little things other than to stand and just watching around.

It might be false positive about virus, since its compressed into rar archive thus hash associated with some virus.
If false positive, less likely to occur with regular zip archive file.

I want to test RG with a true POV mod like the on with kplug, where you can see the character doing things, talking with other npc, because here the graphism are really nice and the protagonist can do various little things other than to stand and just watching around.

That would require that you can move freely with an MC like in AI-Shoujo. There the POV mod with zoom function was very nice indeed when the girls had fun with themselves or with another girl.

If one is available for RG, I'm sure ScrewThisNoise will add it in a future release (probably as optional).

so im trying to access the character databse through the website and the game and im blocked yet I have Nordvpn. Not sure why unless they literally blocked nordvpn completely. anyone having issue with vpn or it just me? I tried multiple servers and no access

If AI Shoujo had just gotten proper expansions and support like the Honey Select games did, there were actual male NPCs running around doing their own thing so you could watch the AIs do all sorts of crap together, and some survival expansions (Especially if the survival had more actual consequences like the character death that Artificial Academy had), AI Shoujo would then just need some optimizations, debugging, and cleanup and it would be fucking perfect for me.

But the game seemed to be wildly unpopular in Japan compared to their other releases, so an AI Shoujo 2 with some improvements will probably never happen.

Maybe if some kind souls decide to do an AAU-type mod for AIS those things I'd like to see in it might happen, but that's extremely unlikely.

Other than the visual upgrades, this is strictly inferior to Honey Select.
Honey Select even has more "gameplay" since you can actually have some fun messing around with the different relationships that alter what a girl will let you do and how she'll respond, while in RoomGirl all the stats do is restrict your access to positions/locations.

Rg is more about roleplaying with multiple character. Need more interaction but it is likely to be introduced in the expands.

anyone know why a lot of female cards I downloaded on the sharing thread cant be used in the real game for registration in the office? they can only be used in free H mode.. ???

DEPENDS on type of character - job
males and females have jobs - see egistration data above - example nurse A / nurse B
EDIT CARD before registration as job you like
you can have single same card - 5 names - 5 jobs === mia dealer, mia nurse, mia idol etc
or mix cards
the cards you download edit their job as you like
save them as new ones
they are chosen by job
guess all can be used in H free mode

I still don't get the idea of the devs about Futa in this game. It's supposed that futa means the character has the two functional sex. And here they role as males. Putting away a real lot of possibilities to combine H scenes.

Room Girl has nothing but a few turn-based scripted interactions. If they took AG3 with improved graphics, added a variety of interactions and improved AI, it would be 1000% better than this.

movement and interactions were frustrating in AG3 though.. I would like something inbetween this and that honestly..

Really illusion, if you have no intention of putting a large amount of effort into gameplay at least give it built in mod support. Imagine what modders could do if they could easily add custom locations/jobs/interactions or change the core gameplay. You game is already modded to hell anyway.

Still, in the case of 3D games I prefer continuous time, instead of pressing the " progress time" button and everyone does their interaction. It certainly doesn't feel like a world where the characters actually live.
In terms of gameplay elements, Room Girl feels like the 0.01 version of the Ren'Py sandbox game. There's almost nothing to do here except sex scenes, which you can see in every other Illusion game and which work almost exactly the same as in other Illusion games.
Plus, most characters can't even interact with most other characters.

The girls in AG3 or AI Syoujyo felt much more alive, although those games weren't perfect.

well , the thing i really like in Aftical Academy is you will have " love rival " if u don't quickly go out with a girl u love . then the rival will take her first time and the reaction of npc is funny. and the " Slap "

Is there a guide on exactly how we're supposed to play this game somewhere? I have the english updated release so I can read stuff but....I'm not clear on the goals of the game play.
