Is there anything to that ranger chick Linea from the start? She says she wants to hunt the demon but the MC just kinda shrugs and walks on.
You can get a quest to retrieve something for her and unlock a class, but that is as much involvement as she has.

After you do her quest where you get her sister's bow for her, she fights the demon off-screen while you're doing other stuff and then she disappears unless you have the soldier origin, in which case she is involved in the soldier's origin specific quest.
There we go. I just knew she had some other stuff but I've never played a soldier. Thanks for the heads up.

the demoness will join ya party when you clear the castle of enemies.
you can choose a perk when you are inside ya castle and click on the mirror that's right next to your throne if i remember correctly.

Aye, clicked on the mirror near the throne but apparently I don't have any Perk points despite being level 10. I have 4.0b and saved the cheat demon from the warlock, so no idea if this somehow interferes.

oh wow. seems like they changed the perk system quite a bit. in older version ya only had a few perks available. and every 10 levels or so you could choose a perk by clicking on it.

Aye, that's how I remembered it as well. Hope someone else chimes in into my issue as I have no idea why I didn't get any perk points so far.
