Kaliyo probably got annoyed with the stealing and killed all the pirates. Now we have to wait for more brave ninjas. :FeelsBadMan:
Well, if that's true, I wouldn't be really suprised, it's a popular game and I imagine that only a small percentage of the players are also supporters. But there is still the small possibility that the new version is delayed only because it's August and people are away.
On unrelated note there is a Discord channel invite on the community page in one of the comment sections, so if you have an account there maybe you can find out if there is any mention of a new protection or something.

I highly doubt anyone would talk about new protection methods, if there is such a thing for Roundscape. Leaving the people in the dark (if you open your wallet it doesn't matter how new or big the protection is) is more effective as spilling the beans.

So I have this bug were Meredith x Demon twins keeps triggering whenever I enter the house. Does anyone know how to fix it/know the variable I need to change ?

These devs have done a pretty good job of avoiding those infinite loop bugs.
I suspect it's a simple fix where just one variable was mistyped. I would try to look at other meredith events that only trigger once and compare the beginning and ending sets of code to see which variables are slightly different.
Unfortunately, I haven't downloaded this version yet and I my real life won't give me enough time to scour the code for another day or two. Otherwise I would have just tried to find the issue myself instead of just postulating.
I would love it if you or whoever finds the problem were to share what they found here on the site. I am slowly learning java due to these moments of denied titties or glitched titties.
