Yes the 3d was too much work so he pivoted to 2.5D, but all the art is new what are you even talking about?

Sorry my conclusion is that he is taking longer with this game it's because of the changes he is currently making.

The new release of RS2 will not be in this year , but its on the works.

We should be getting an update on RS2 soon after starmaker story 1.8 drops according to Kal. So we will see what the ETA is from there.

I'm sure RS2 will be released in late January 2026, it's because some Starmaker fans insulted the developer for not dropping on the 10th December...

The dev does have issues with releasing on time, and tends to delay stuff but man its wild to me how willing people are to dogpile on despite him developing smk in a year time with so much content. Not to mention 1.8 is gonna be the biggest update yet.

Most western devs take 2-3 years to release this much content (if they dont milk it, or drop the project), and this is only his side project while he's developing his main project RS2 as well.

Arvus Games releases good complete games, which is why I support them despite them hardly ever hitting release dates lol.
