I have a few questions. Since the controversial actions enforced on Steam and itchio, lewd games had been removed. I assume, yours too. Since you released the game as early access, how does it affect you, and your customers.
Can you still work on your Early Access game on Steam/itchio? Will customers get new releases? Do you noew have to refund the money? How does it affect you?

Unlike many other developers, this didn't affect me so much, as my game was never commercially successful. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, considering the situation.
At least compared to other well-known games, I'm still “under the radar.”
My game is still on Steam because it doesn't touch on the most “sensitive” topics, such as incest and rape. Only time will tell if Steam will continue its “purges.”
I'm working on a sequel to the game, but I don't know if Steam will allow me to release the update now. I think they are now focusing all their efforts on searching for “questionable content.” And we may have to wait until the situation is resolved one way or another.
On Itch, all adult games have been completely removed, because unlike Steam, they did not have the ability to check every game that was posted.
The games were not physically removed from the servers, they just disappeared from the search, and you can still access them via a direct link.
Itch seems to promise to open access to games as they are verified.
I don't know where they will find enough staff for this, though.
Perhaps, like Steam, they will charge developers a fee for hosting games with adult content.
This situation affects me more from a moral standpoint: it seems like we are trying to make this world, filled with wars, pain, violence, and suffering, just a little bit better and create games where people love each other, but no: there will always be a group of mentally deficient moralists who believe they have the right to decide what is morally acceptable for you and your culture, and what is not.
So, like all developers now, sometimes I feel powerless and angry, and sometimes the opposite: I want to spite the “moralists” by releasing as many such products as possible. In any case, all developers are now crossing their fingers, holding their breath, and waiting to see how it all ends.

This is the ONLY game so far on F95zone which refuses to ever play on my mac.

The developer said they'd update it, but 18 months have passed and clearly no work has been done. I'm just surprised that after 18 months with no updates, this post still hasn't had the “abandoned” tag applied.

That's an unfounded assumption. Just because there's been no communication really about an update nor any new release doesn't mean no work has been done. It's very possible they've worked on it in that time but just haven't finished. None of us have any idea what exactly has happened in reality, so making such a blanket statement is silly.

Why would I talk to a Russian developer in English? The message was meant only for him, if someone wanted to know the meaning, they could translate it themselves.
