Are you doing the english tl of 1.7.6 still?
Sorry for the late reply. I had gone back to work in September, so my last message in October was me throwing in the towel since the tools I was using were introducing bugs, and I had enough on my plate between work and other things in life I wanted to do. However, I have left my current position to go back to school because I want to complete a degree in computer science. Since I will have quite a bit of free time, I would not mind taking another crack at it. Though I am currently playing some other games, so it might be after I finish those.
Based on my previous attempts, it feels like "Rune's Pharmacy" is using some kind of not standard code/format for their text/events. I assume this is what was causing Translator++ to either fail to extract all of the text that needs translating, or fail to startup if I tried to use Translator++ to extract text from a copy that I had previously made translation changes to. I also assume that the tool I was using after translator++ was standardizing the code/text when packing in the translated text back into the game. However since the game expected the not standard code, this resulted in the game having bugs because of misaligned expectations.

This is just my assumptions, but based on these assumptions I stopped trying to finish transitioning the game back then since I would first need to fix/alter the tools I was using for translating and that would be outside of the scope that I was trying to achieve. (Personally I decided to wait for translator++ to get a few more updates before trying again).
While I will try again, I am going to see if I can work with others who are translating since my previous attempts hit roadblocks.
