Does anyone know if the 4th ending (With Shalban) even exist? Cuz I'm burning my brains trying to unlock it....

Maybe it's time to show some progress (things slowed down a bit):
I've ported everything from the and
now struggling with the new content (about 500 lines are still not translated).

It would be nice to know how get every main ending. I also have no idea how to get the ending with the rich dude.

Are you doing the english tl of 1.7.6 still?

Sorry for the late reply. I had gone back to work in September, so my last message in October was me throwing in the towel since the tools I was using were introducing bugs, and I had enough on my plate between work and other things in life I wanted to do. However, I have left my current position to go back to school because I want to complete a degree in computer science. Since I will have quite a bit of free time, I would not mind taking another crack at it. Though I am currently playing some other games, so it might be after I finish those.

Based on my previous attempts, it feels like "Rune's Pharmacy" is using some kind of not standard code/format for their text/events. I assume this is what was causing Translator++ to either fail to extract all of the text that needs translating, or fail to startup if I tried to use Translator++ to extract text from a copy that I had previously made translation changes to. I also assume that the tool I was using after translator++ was standardizing the code/text when packing in the translated text back into the game. However since the game expected the not standard code, this resulted in the game having bugs because of misaligned expectations.

This is just my assumptions, but based on these assumptions I stopped trying to finish transitioning the game back then since I would first need to fix/alter the tools I was using for translating and that would be outside of the scope that I was trying to achieve. (Personally I decided to wait for translator++ to get a few more updates before trying again).


While I will try again, I am going to see if I can work with others who are translating since my previous attempts hit roadblocks.

Fuck yeah dude, I look forward to seeing you finish the TL. 500 lines isn't TOO terrible, considering how long I waited for Wings to finish up Pregcess of Zeven

The first bugfix in less than a few hours :D

Regarding scripts:
- fixed status menu text
- added SHIFT key to hide message window
- CTRL key also shows message window (to prevent confusion)
- choice window cannot be hidden (prevent afterchoice confusion)

I was trying the game but it seem like to try the new translation, I need the game 1.76 version. The one posted here won't work because it don't have the data from 1.76 right? Maybe we should wait someone post the full game with this new translation added?

Yeah sorry I don't know about it. I even went for a raw copy but is not just copy paste apparently. If someone can post the full game 1.76 with this new patch translated, that would be great.

The same one?... Hope you only used his help for tools/porting stuff, not for actual lines ingame :ROFLMAO:.
I hope the same as well.Cant really be hyped for a mtl after all.( but looking at the dates that some of the files were modified and when that message was posted i can easily figure out it was used)

Also the game haz some word wrap issues and script breaking if you try to edit it without using the actual rpgmaker engine.The original fan translator even had to make a custom script to make sure the game accepted the english dialogue.

A small fix, again for the scripts (v1.76):
If you've played in japanese locale, you may have noticed text overrun issues in message log.
In this file, the VL Gothic font is set as the main font so that the text will look the same regardless of the locale.

I will tip my hat to you for trying to fix the upcoming issues.

I also advice you to recheck all the 1.71 to 1.76 added and changed dialogue and compare it to the japanese dialogue again. (You are bound to find discrepancies).

Well at least people will be able to play 1.76 in english now.:)
