Although I enjoy the games that inspired this, and the nuclear fallout setting grips me, I couldn't bring myself to finish this.
It had the right setting, the intro boded well and the art was cutesy.
But then the dialog, plot, and character progress are straight-forward and leave little to the imagination.
I like to get into characters before I get into them
But I couldn't really empathize. They felt too fabricated. Too nonsensical. After a couple of talks and a coffee or so, you're up in their wazoo. Especially with the taboo relations that sort of quick-and-easy defeats the point. Taboo's meant to rush or shock, rather than gently pass by without worry or impact. That's my take on it anyway.
As for gameplay, there's a town you can help, saving up finances to build it up. Admittedly I didn't get through the whole game so my view is lacking.
I'd recommend this to those who are forgiving with character depth, and like the art style and fallout setting.
