Six months have passed and zero has changed with this game. Not sure why it has the abandoned tag right now, but it probably deserves it after six months of nothing happening. Even the discord is gathering cobwebs since about April, now.
People who come in for an update seem to me to be because they updated it to abandoned. Also, by updating it, I put it first so that people who don't know it can try it.
Wait wait wait! Is this game dead........? It is so good and awesome. Someone revives this dev please!
Does anyone know how to lower the graphics for games that have no configuration? It's about 1000 and you can barely play it. my pc runs things but this passes.

Good luck man! From what I can tell on discords you can hear and see people still at work, so Maybe post in places ot see if anyone is part of a discord that will have updates or info!
the game isn't abandoned. Nekopan has been posting progress images on the Discord Environmental and Lighting work for the areas and the main character getting updated shading.
I was just gonna say why does this have the abandoned tag? Then I realized that most of the posts and updates have been on discord and not on the site here.

I heard this thread got the "abandoned" tag again, so I thought I'd log in again to clarify the game is still not abandoned and is still actively being worked on~

Anyways, the game has been getting overhauled for a while now, and during this overhaul, I'm taking my time to make sure everything is to a certain standard of quality. That's why the version that was uploaded here is called "Overhaul part 1". ^w^
This game was never going to just be a quick thing with just a few levels and I was never going to develop it in a short time. I'm developing my dream game, so I'm giving it all the time it needs!

I suppose that's fair! I just thought maybe people would find it more interesting if instead of small, incremental updates, I gave fewer, but more impactful ones.
But, I did start posting screenshots and progress updates to my discord some months ago so people can at least see the game is still being developed. Maybe I could also make smaller, more casual posts on patreon if it's something people would like to see~

i herd that like after a year or x ammount of months without a update it gets flagged as abandon could try to make a on hold.
some times a small update is needed to scratch that itch or just to test a few thing and secondly not everyone checks patrions or discords so its easy to miss dev logs and assume something is dead
im just glad your still working on it, and that you still enjoy working on the game as well. I am super hyped for the next free demo to play <3 Keep on rocking Neko!

That makes sense~ I guess what made me change how often I release updates is that I wanted to make something people genuinely wanted to play, and I wasn't really happy with it before I began the overhaul.
Then later, when Overhaul Part 1 was released and didn’t get any feedback, I took that to mean it maybe wasn’t interesting or different enough from what I’d already released before. So I went back to working on Saeba’s overhaul and focused on taking my time, making more improvements I thought it needed; or just sounded fun, so I could hopefully show everyone something to get excited about! I'd feel kind of bad giving everyone another version where you mostly just run around and test combat again.
But, I really do appreciate your interest in it! ^w^ I wanted to finish or overhaul the physics before Part 2 at the very least, and I’ve also wanted to eventually add more to it to make it more interesting, like NPCs to talk to; quests or story beats to complete; or even an overhauled city area in the Patreon version, so people get a fuller picture of what the game is meant to be~
Realistically though, Part 2 of the overhaul does have to end somewhere, and it has been a while since Part 1 was released! ^w^;;
If people would really like a new version a bit sooner, and don’t mind that it’ll basically be another combat demo, I suppose I could try preparing Part 2 as it is now, and continue working on the rest of the overhaul after that.
I guess I do prefer using my Discord server to communicate with people who follow the project, since that’s where I feel the most comfortable~ When it comes to this place, the feedback here is very helpful, but a lot of the reason why I don't visit here often is I honestly don't really like to visit hentai sites, so I don't really come here in my free time... But I do understand that not everyone uses Discord or Patreon, and there are still people here who are interested in Saeba~ so, maybe I can try posting here from time to time if it would make things easier to follow.
Thanks! I'm glad you're still interested in it! :3 It's still my dream game, so I'll continue developing it until the day it's finished. And later if things go well enough, I wouldn't even mind making sequels~!
