No. She's been a woman throughout the entire story. Why do you think she was male?

Maybe it was because I didn't download the update file but the dialogue in the intro made it seem like she was calling herself a man
The MC is very tomboyish, so it might be one of those things where she used the masculine version of I instead of the feminine. Initially, the game tends to emphasise how unladylike she is. However, she is and always was a female.
Great game, I kinda cry on special ending. Really excited on the next game XD.

In chapter one, I didn't complete all the missions that I can remember. What I did notice is that it is divided into three parts, since at the moment I am in chapter 3 and I can go back to visit the other chapters. That's why I'm asking, because I don't know in which part of chapter 1 that mission is, as it is divided into three.
It's the beast mountain side missions. You should do all of the side quests anyways as some are important for the true ending.
