ok, let me rephrase, how do i know which one i am supposed to use? If the program is something that requires an installation then what is the other one?

I see five main heroines on the vndb but only four routes on the walkthrough. It doesn't help that only two of the translated names match the heroines listed on vndb. I'd like to know who actually has routes so I can know who's okay to get attached to and who I should expect to suffer a terrible fate.
Also, if there's a hidden fifth route what the prereqs are for it. I don't see anything about an unlockable route in the vnbd or walkthrough, but it'd explain why there's five heroines but only four routes.

One is an installer (an executable which you download and then run on your computer and it installs the game), and the other is all the files and folders already uncompressed and just need to be copy/pasted to your desired directory. I don't think it matters which one you choose, but the installer will be a little smaller to download.
No spoiler: there are indeed only 4 routes in the game (and 5 girls with important roles).

If by "read only vn" you mean a kinetic novel (which means no choices, and the story is always the same), then no. There are some choices in the game which can influence the ending, and there are 4 different routes to take with different heroines (although the common route is like 80% of the game).
You'd have to use google translate if you can't read Japanese, but I think it's pretty easy to understand (obviously the choices on-screen would be different from what google translate will give you, but it's easy to connect which option is which).
