It's 9 new species per region. And we are making one region at a time. So the workload is not overwhelming to be honest.

As for predator catching the player. They will skip time so any bounties or unsubmitted photos are lost. The puzzles will all be time limited photo stuff that requires a little thought. Not too much though. It is a porn game after all.

Focus is key, too many devs out there that wanna do everything at once and get nowhere, so i completely agree on the strategy to focus on one area at a time. and if i math my math correctly that means around 5 to 6 islands in the full version. oh the anticipation is killing me. feels great to see a 3D Monstergirl (or) furry game come along smoothly.

also i like what i am hearing on the gameplay side of things. the struggle seems to make sure i get some good photos for my missions and get back in one piece, without being caught by the predator girls and become her one-night stand for the night, and thus lose out on the rewards i could've used.

You're close. It's not islands but regions on the island. We have 5 planned which is plains, forest, desert, tundra/snow, mountains/volcano. If we make enough sales come launch on steam we may consider adding 2 more regions which would be caves/underground and ocean/reef. But we would need to be doing really well for that. I don't want to give anyone the impression we are considering that a goal though.

So I'm hoping to be able to play this game on Steam deck eventually, would it be better to buy it through Steam? Cause I would prefer to use my GOG account but I'm not sure if it will run well on the Deck through GOG/Heroic Games Launcher.

We will get deck support via the native os. Optimizing right now for their desktop mode isn't a big focus as we develop the game.
