My thoughts about the overall direction of the game, if anyone interested.
Now it feels more like a zoo than some island with wildlife. Too many monstergirls, they don't try to hide and so on.
Territory should be x100 times bigger so you really need to search for girls. Then they should have some herds of the same race, stay together with this group and do the same things together (eat, drink, sleep,...)
This gameplay part is like this:
1. Go to specific region where's the high chance to meet specific race. (many races can be in the same region, but different chance/density)
2. Search for the group (or stray individuals) of monstergirls.
3. Now you can take your time to make photos of their life and interactions with other groups if they happen to meet them.
4. As you already invested time into this, you naturally stay with this group for some time to make as much photos of them as you can.
Day/Night circle should be much longer. As you can sleep to change the current time, there's no point if it only lasts like 3-5 minutes.
60 minutes -> 24 hours is quite popular for this.
Likewise, monstergirls activities should be spread out on this 24 hours, and that will give you more chances and time to witness and photo them.
Something like: Eat 2h, Play 4h, Migrate 2h, Drink 2h, afternoon sleep 3h, and so on. This will give you 2h->5minutes time to get a good angle/distance to make a photo.
Stealth right now is just a distance from the monstergirls. I tested it: make 1 step closer - meter begins to rise, step back - begins to fall. It's literally impossible to get close even if you move very slow.
Should be: you don't move - meter slowly falls, unless you are already in 2-3 meters distance.
Familiarity.
Should be split into 2 parts.
1. Your familiarity with monstergirl's race as a whole. The higher - the better you know their behavior. You know better what provokes them and what they consider rude/aggressive and such, so you can avoid doing it.
2. Each individual monstergirl's familiarity with humans.
So monstergirls should be permanent/semi-permanent(you mark favorites, so they won't be discarded) beings. Each one of them has their own favor meter with you, based on your actions towards them.
I don't know, give them food, don't scare them, let them get used to your presence and such.
These all leads to: MORE RANDOM.
Random things in these games can replace simulations quite good. Every thing should have a chance to fail and to succeed.
Familiarity is now just a chance for success, not 100%. Your familiarity + their familiarity = chance they'll let you get closer and pet them.
Random body size, color, proportions, run speed, perception, familiarity growth, ....
Spread in different parameters will make it feel new and fresh every time and adds to individuality.
Random behavior (9 of 10 go to eat, but 1 stays behind for some reason)
Something like this will make the game much more alive i believe, as you can't expect the same things happen again and again like they are robots.
