I just bought the game on GoG.


In the 5th photo, crash....
Are you running v022d.hf2? And just to confirm you have a graphics card? If you don't I suggest running using the dx11 version of the game.

You could also try the following since it's an error related to how unreal and AMD drivers are handled.

1. Try lowering video settings

2. Try different window modes

3. If using any resource intensive software in background, try closing them

4. If using undervolt on GPU, try using stock settings

5. Try removing all files in C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\SapphireSafari\Saved\Config and C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\SapphireSafari\Saved\SaveGames\Settings

6. You could try using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to remove GPU drivers and install them fresh

Hopefully you add custom graphic settings before release because deciding if player and monster models should be more priority then the ground would be useful oh and picking what has shadows like foliage and trees or what doesn't like the player.

I wrote down a potential feature, but take in mind this is more of a rant.

We are building world partitions instead which should cover the basics here. There are a variety of options tied to effects and what not. We bundled them together instead of making a ton of sliders.

after quitting and restarting the game
I won't tell you how to unzip a game correctly, but ah. Maybe unzip the game correctly? If ya gonna pirate my games at least know how to do the basics.

There is zero other reason why a main ucas file would be in your temp data in your local folder.

Hi I have a problem, when I'm playing and I take about 6 photos, or the wild reptiles that attack the creatures, it hangs and closes, I even got an error with my graphics card, it scared me a lot.
XD I even formatted my PC because I thought it was an error with my equipment, but that doesn't matter, I needed to do it already XDDDD although of course, this didn't solve it completely XDD I hope they manage to fix the game and that it comes out on steam :'v I wanted to buy it but the error and that it's not on steam makes me think about it

I just wanted to report the error

My PC is a Ryzen 5 5600
16 ram
windows 10
and an AMD 6650 XT graphics card

It's a vram usage issue. We have corrected it already in the full product. You can buy the game on itch, gog, or jast, (steam march 7th) if you want the fix.

I am more than willing to admit I am both lazy and possess multiple skill issues. Does someone have a map of all the puzzle/mystery stone locations?

They are found on the edge of the plains region. You can hear them at night.

My thoughts about the overall direction of the game, if anyone interested.

Now it feels more like a zoo than some island with wildlife. Too many monstergirls, they don't try to hide and so on.
Territory should be x100 times bigger so you really need to search for girls. Then they should have some herds of the same race, stay together with this group and do the same things together (eat, drink, sleep,...)
This gameplay part is like this:
1. Go to specific region where's the high chance to meet specific race. (many races can be in the same region, but different chance/density)
2. Search for the group (or stray individuals) of monstergirls.
3. Now you can take your time to make photos of their life and interactions with other groups if they happen to meet them.
4. As you already invested time into this, you naturally stay with this group for some time to make as much photos of them as you can.

Day/Night circle should be much longer. As you can sleep to change the current time, there's no point if it only lasts like 3-5 minutes.
60 minutes -> 24 hours is quite popular for this.
Likewise, monstergirls activities should be spread out on this 24 hours, and that will give you more chances and time to witness and photo them.
Something like: Eat 2h, Play 4h, Migrate 2h, Drink 2h, afternoon sleep 3h, and so on. This will give you 2h->5minutes time to get a good angle/distance to make a photo.

Stealth right now is just a distance from the monstergirls. I tested it: make 1 step closer - meter begins to rise, step back - begins to fall. It's literally impossible to get close even if you move very slow.
Should be: you don't move - meter slowly falls, unless you are already in 2-3 meters distance.

Familiarity.
Should be split into 2 parts.
1. Your familiarity with monstergirl's race as a whole. The higher - the better you know their behavior. You know better what provokes them and what they consider rude/aggressive and such, so you can avoid doing it.
2. Each individual monstergirl's familiarity with humans.
So monstergirls should be permanent/semi-permanent(you mark favorites, so they won't be discarded) beings. Each one of them has their own favor meter with you, based on your actions towards them.
I don't know, give them food, don't scare them, let them get used to your presence and such.


These all leads to: MORE RANDOM.
Random things in these games can replace simulations quite good. Every thing should have a chance to fail and to succeed.

Familiarity is now just a chance for success, not 100%. Your familiarity + their familiarity = chance they'll let you get closer and pet them.
Random body size, color, proportions, run speed, perception, familiarity growth, ....
Spread in different parameters will make it feel new and fresh every time and adds to individuality.
Random behavior (9 of 10 go to eat, but 1 stays behind for some reason)

Something like this will make the game much more alive i believe, as you can't expect the same things happen again and again like they are robots.

We do plan to have some balance passes on the number of mons, right now it feels like too many but there are only like 8 to 10 on the island at once.

As for behavior ai we just hired a new guy to help breathe more life into their systems as right now they are very simple for the sake of building the core systems and such around photography, scoring, ux, and the like.

Overcomplicating things at the start of development is only going to hurt us. Our team is like 5 people big afterall.

The feedback is good. I am not fully sure we want to expand the size of the island as it will feel different when the other biomes are open.
