QSP as in Quest Soft Player? That stuff is so Soviet, it doesn't even have a summary on the (western) Wikipedia dump. I had to do some digging for features and properties.

My not-even-IT-undergrad and amateur guts says an upper echelon HTML/+ editor scores better than QSP in it's homefield. Even if limited to open source and Ukr . Ren'py will win on HTML/+ for simple interaction media viewer development.

I'll argue QSP has more cons than pros and limits reach due to geopolitics, even if coded in Cyrillic script. Some cons even apply to the users, but most for the developers. I'll give QSP is a lean and mean specialist development solution, feature lacking, optimized quite nicely. This combo is also the achilles hiel on versatility.

Don't mind my rambling Vopsorso. Use whatever tools feel right to you.
