Easily, go to any thread with no "gay" tag, or one with said tag where that content is clearly the exclusive or primary focus of the game. On the rare occasion where neither of those is the case, it is an entirely reasonable question. Frankly I'm shocked the first search result for "gay avoidable" on this thread is 800+ posts in, unless the tag was only added with the current update.

If like you mentioned the game "clearly isn't focused on gay content" why are you even worried if it is avoidable? play it and see for yourself.
Just avoid the game if you can't deal with specific tags, this is valid for every other tag out there.

You'll get warning if there is a gay scene, but in dialogues.. no, you cant avoid that. But you shouldn't be worried about that, because there is <3 Godsaving <3 female protagonist tag, means there is very few M+M scenes.
