Honestly, I don't mind the silly sliders and proportions. If the dev wants to go wild, more power to 'em, so long as the passion behind the project remains, as I'm far more curious what a fully fleshed (pun intended) game would look like here.
As for thoughts for the game, here's a few of 'em after playing last night.
Premise is pretty simple and solid. Hottie hunk or heroine is about to be figuratively and literally screwed in a dungeon realm of no return, where they have been cast off. Gotcha. Different stats for different approaches here and there.
Setting is dangerous, a handful of pretty much instant loss foes before heading to the 'town' hub. Grim, but some sources of hope and threads of an interesting narrative here and there.
Art is fairly wild for renders, and the proportions are ...generous. But again, this sort of creates a style of its own to stand out, so hey, why not. Especially if it means we can get some more outlandish monster sex scenes here and there (not a fan of vore-at all-but hey, to each their own.)
However, comma, on the topic of art, here's a few things: For one, the leading ladies tend to have *very* similar bodies. Especially the monster hunter companion, who shares similar hair color and freckles. There were a few times I honestly confused her art for the fem MC. The redheaded 'leader' is built nearly the same, plus or minus the glorious bikini armor, and then there is the 'brawler' companion who *also* has a similar body structure. And outfit.
So suggestion wise, if it's not too late with character designs, maybe vary 'em up just a bit, thematically? Height, pelvic curtain, dunno. Also her art for the companion pic is far larger and oddly sized compared to the MC and hunter. Also also, maybe using the tavern or another location, adding a place to drop or recruit characters may be a good move, depending on how big the cast ends up being.
As for content, there's a few bits of strangeness here and there. Monster hunter gal is in some sort of skin tight outfit, which is great, but how the hell is it in one piece with all the rapey grabby monsters down there? Magic is a easy answer, I suppose.
There's only two (working) encounters in the prelude place, most of which is a quick game over. Then the narrative is kicked into after fighting for an extended time with ???, you make it to the town. What were we fighting? Why are we the same level and experience afterwards if we've been enduring a marathon of rip and tear? Why are we suddenly successful at fighting random baddies versus being heavily overpowered and outmatched?
If we *do* take out the ogre, it'd be nice to be rewarded with something, item or lewd art wise. Heck, maybe the hunter character has a special technique to subdue big male monsters that involves some heavy lifting (which the MC can assist with?) Team work makes the dream work. Dunno, just spitballing here.
Folks have already mentioned the lighting and clipping issues, so I'll just zip through whatever bugs I can remember.
First off, the npc to the south of the intro area does nothing. Not sure if intentional. No way to gain sanity, so even if you want to see or enjoy the lewd art with the ogre, it's just a flat game over making you restart or load, which is counter intuitive and obnoxious. Especially after your text says essentially defeat is not always the end.
Mechanic wise, it's kind of a hot mess. Armor is currently equipped in the shield slot, oddly enough. Accessories cannot be equipped. Learning a two hander (sword or hammertime) or the skills doesn't actually do anything or make said skills available. Nor can you equip the weapons after learning how to do so. Same deal with learning brawling moves, they are not available.
If you object to being oogled, you flat out can't do the homonculus quest. (Good place to use CHA or aggression, or maybe relay on the brawler teammate).
It's somewhat annoying that out of the arena opponents, you can only pick one as a gal (the other girl won't face a girl, and the big dick half demon guy is 'locked' behind a paid version). I get that you want to fund and promote the game, but still.
If you do the arena battle, you lose the hunter npc for whatever reason (she was simply gone afterwards). Probably not intended.
As a shameless futa fan, I'm curious and intrigued about the futa section wip in the arena. If there weren't already so many renders, I'd ask if that's a body type we can have as our MC, hahaha. Also full package, please and thank you.
Dang. Props to anybody making it to the end here.
TLDNR: buggy, goofy sliders with a solid slice of hotness, and definite potential. Will keep an eye out on this one in the future.
