3 years of development for a 30min playthrough? what a disappointment

If my understanding is a proper, there is no team. Moreover, he is employed in full hours rate and makes the vn in his free hours.

The hot model and animation (DAT ASS) in the dev's signature brought me here. Looks like the game has quality models and renders, but I'll check back in later. Good luck to you, sir.

Version 0.0.32 Ready
Important:
a) Start from beginning!
Besides the major new additions that will be explained in the "Changelog" section, many minor changes were made to the existing parts (e.g. extra new images of bathing Paula, that turn her existing sequences into short animations), so even if the game won't stall, you will lose some nice eye-candy.
b) Beware of Music!
Yap, we finally added some audial carpeting, and it starts with a bang. Quite literally.
c) Although a very thorough reworking of some parts of the game, especially behind the scenes (you will notice the quality differences between the previous Jessica and MC images as you play along), it is a relatively small game update, consisting of one major scene.
It was more important for me to make the quality enhancements for the Maya-RenderMan pipeline and deliver a fast update of high quality than wait until I have a massive amount of material.
Judging by the result, especially as I look forward, I think I've made the right choice.
Changelog:
1) Added the Jessica scene. Now you have the option to play her and MC's combined path.
We strongly advise you take it.
2) Added music and sound effects throughout the game, and some of it is quite loud. So be advised.
3) Changed order of images and added images to existing sequences.
4) A better envelop to the game, especially the ending.

BIG GamePlay and Interface Changes
Tomorrow will upload the new version of "Saving Paula" for the XTra-V-Gant tier, and again for the XTreme-Z tier.
This is still version 0.0.32, but a very modified (dare I say "Upgraded?..") version of the game, so we suggest that all of you who already downloaded the game and played it, will do so again.
Why?
For one, the interface was changed in many ways besides looks.
For instance, in sunbathing Silvia's image you'll see (in the bottom right corner) a small arrow. That arrow appears whenever we put a 4K scrollable image, so you can press it and move on, as those images are not clickable. In those images, whenever you approach the screen edges you actually move the image. In the old versions we did that for you, through animation. But now you can do it with complete control, and see any part of the image you want for how long you want it.
Other interface changes you can see in Paula's bathroom image. Let's go by the numbers:
1) There is an "xTz" icon in the upper left corner which, when pressed, opens the two Statistics Panes.
2) This is the Main Statistics Pane, showing only the important single-attribute values that influence the characters' behaviors directly.
It will be a feature in both the game versions - the xTz version and the regular one.
3) This is the Compound Statistics Pane, showing the estimated formula results of multiple attributes - main and secondary - that will affect the main characters in what we think will be the main interests of the players.
There are many variables, so not all are shown. Feel free to write to us if there is some info you like to put on those screens to help you achieve your in-game goals.
This, too, will be a feature in both the xTz and the regular versions.
4) This is the most important and most difficult feature to implement: the suggested Golden Path.
Basically, this highlights the choices we think are the best suited for a path that leads to a balance of romance and debauchery with Paula and the other ladies, together with not missing a scene.
The choices are not simply "Love" or "Lust" and so on, because the context of the situations plays a great part in the best choice you can make, and you will not see that in the variables.
For instance, in the pool scene, many players chose the obvious (and short-sighted) actions with both Paula and Silvia, and missed a huge chunk of images and credits for the future.
For all those who claim to have finished the game "in ten minutes," and didn't get why so many others liked it so much, we strongly suggest you play again, this time with our help

so are you going to just keep reworking the current content and not expect your player base to get bored? many devs are doing this lately with their games and not creating any new story content. as the player, i for one, find this irritating and a reason to put a game in the trash bin having lost interest in replaying the same shit over and over again. you want to improve your game? that's fine, but do it as you move the story along or you will lose a lot of your player base. just my opinion.

Since the latest version was uploaded only 4 days ago, with new scenes, I am really comfortable with spending a couple of days making it better.
As for what "many devs are doing" - what does it have to do with me? Talk to them.
You remind of a girl I've dated who was constantly nagging about all the other men she'd dated- while she was dating me. It didn't last long...
So all you said is simply irrelevant.
And it's not my opinion - it's a fact.
