What does the unoficil patch do?
I included a change log in the post. Basically fixed a bug where the name box would overlap with the choice text, used better compression to make the game 20% of the original size, and made it work on Linux and JoiPlay.

+1, had the game preordered when i saw the announcement a few days ago.

The game devs/translation deserved my money for the quality product. And i hope to contribute to the statistics which will help more games like this get translated and brought over to the west.
Fully agree. I use this site mostly now to keep an eye on devs and games that have my interest and to "test drive" games. And i am happy to give my money to those that develop good games or put the effort into translating. You are absolutely right that the more money they see the more likely other games are to be translated. I hope everyone on this site reads your post.

Not flexing on anyone but I am happy to pay the $20 price for this.
Yet again piracy leads to more sales not less.
Outside of the porny-game world I am a "real" game developer, and piracy is honestly one of the best marketing strategies ever.

One of my games got pirated immediately after I launched it, sales increased a tiny bit right after it got posted on a certain bay of pirates, it wasnt a lot, but for an indie developer, every little bit counts.

Not sure if I would have made more money if it didnt got pirated, but I honestly doubt it.

Nowadays I just release the pirated version myself so I can have some stats on the number of downloads

Good luck to you.

I was just playing overdrives latest thinking it would be hilarious as a dev to determine the route via the hash of the answers just to see people make super convoluted guides of the routes. You’d need like 16 different routes but still...

Thx for ur post, but i keep getting an error in joiplay "ReferenceError require is not defined" any solutions? :]
Require is supposed to be defined by the JoiPlay framework but a few people have been having issues, not sure why yet.

I would contact the JoiPlay dev about it.

So is there any new actual content besides uncensored? I played this a while ago and already saw the gallery, so I'm just wondering if I should take the time to download/patch.

Piracy PROBABLY helps indie games more because those are of unknown quality and people generally won't buy random games that they have no idea about. Notwithstanding, I don't know whether piracy is a net benefit or loss; the data isn't there.

Piracy is a bigger issue for AAA devs. Series like GTA have always been great, so most of the people pirating those games just don't want to pay. The theory of "testing" the game falls flat; how many pirates play one hour then proceed to waltz over to Gamestop and purchase a copy? Very few, I think.

In general AAA studios fuck their devs.

They can go suck a dick.

Are you telling me that we don't have GTA 6 now because of piracy? Or is it because they can get micro transactions out of everyone playing GTA 5 online which is why it didn't bug them when the Epic store gave it away for free.

I haven't said anything about devs or microtransactions lol. I don't know why GTA6 is delayed or care for it.
I don't play AAA games; I prefer to support the indie scene.
