Sure. But the game just isn't good enough to warrant that kind of difficulty without giving the player a choice. The added difficulty adds nothing to the game. And infinite enemies is just bad design in a game like this. Having the ai stack on top of you when you are getting up, with no mechanic to prevent yourself from getting his (you can't attack someone that is on top of you), is also bad design.

skill issue, also you can do a roundhouse kick attack that attacks all enemies around you, including the ones on-top of you

I want the version with level select just so I can lose on later stages without having to play five-ten minutes of game to get there. The game's really not hard once you get it, but it sure can get tedious.

Weird. Went looking for the dev of this game, but I can't find them, or any of their games on Dlsite. Seems they may have scrubbed, or been scrubbed off DLsite entirely.

DLSite, Pixiv, and several other Japanese distribution sites are 'shadowbanning' certain regions' IP addresses from being able to see products tagged as containing content that's supposed to be restricted in their areas. Double-check via a VPN (that hasn't been banned from accessing the sites) to know for sure if they've been scrubbed off said marketplaces or if you just appear to them to be in a region that they'd rather not risk distributing stuff to.
