Not really irrelevant. Reuploaded files are always preferred as that makes it more likely for us to get the alive link when we get to updating the thread. Sometimes that takes time and if the dev sees his link shared he can just remove it. If someone wants to share the official link it’s better via report as only uploader+ can see those, that way it can’t get removed.Does it matter? If you are sharing a link that is supposedly from the dev, it has to be similar to the one posted somewhere. Whether or not the dev can delete it is irrelevant. Even you should be able to understand that...
If you read the thread entirely, you would have seen I was answering to someone sharing a link to the latest version
As you seem to have the official link you can check both files SHA256 hashes to see if they are the same file. People who are not supporting don’t know anyways if it’s official or not.
