On some level, I understand him, the game is outdated, being unfinished, of course, he wanted to change something. It's such a time now, everything is changing rapidly, along with new technologies. Not everyone knows how to do something on time.

In unity games, all patches are placed in the folder with the exe file of the game.

Not really, take your time and choose whichever you prefer first.

Some events can't be revisited later; the trigger simply won't work. This is likely a bug, but it's present in the game. The same goes for that damn white screen in other events. But overall, almost all the content can be completed in a single playthrough.

Not really irrelevant. Reuploaded files are always preferred as that makes it more likely for us to get the alive link when we get to updating the thread. Sometimes that takes time and if the dev sees his link shared he can just remove it. If someone wants to share the official link it’s better via report as only uploader+ can see those, that way it can’t get removed.

As you seem to have the official link you can check both files SHA256 hashes to see if they are the same file. People who are not supporting don’t know anyways if it’s official or not.
