I was having trouble with this too, but just figured it out. It's another classroom in the building on the first floor that's labeled 1-2 on the outside, I'll attach a screenshot below. You can find it by going to the hallway section where you normally conduct the class, click the left arrow and that takes you there. It seems you need to go in that classroom in the afternoon to trigger the event, not sure if it's day specific or not. Also, I don't believe there's an actual haunted house, I think that's just an event that takes place in that particular room.

Oh thanks! Well it's just that Haunted house shows unchecked and I wasn't sure what to do then, or decorate now. But I'll try what you suggested now.
