0.15beta is probably just a technical update, so no new game content, 0.16beta will only be released in December/January

KsT will only do the sex scenes here in the game when the twist has the last update
The Twist which is running for 4 years now and which main story is supposed to be ended for a year now, but keep getting updates after updates, and can continue to have somes for years, even decades if ever needed...

0.16 beta will be by definition a beta and 0.17 will also be a beta i bet...so after 2 years and a half, perhaps a non dream sex scene can be possible, at least the first phase of it, before some stats to grind for more...

I mentioned it already before, but someday, Kst will have to jump the cliff and go full time on the new game ! If i beleive the last patreon stats i saw, somes got bored and left the ship, thus to what point can he continue to "live" on the Twist fanbase if that one is getting smaller...

Did KST say why there's no incest in this?

I haven't tried it because it seems way too under-perverted for me, especially 2 years in, after more than enough time to have surpassed The Twist if the will was there.

I don't know, mate... The project is financed via Patreon. And they don't like that type of content.

So, the incest patch came like years into development of the The Twist as a hidden patch.

So, I assume that something similar must be happening. KST promises clean content. And then adds a patch that changes everything to please the degenerates hiding in the dark corners of society.

Or maybe KST went the mainstream road. Steam releases etc... And only "normal sexual content".

For my part, I'm just tired of the cute little girls in Hentai types of content. Give me the creeps... They look like innocent little girls. While in The Twist, you had older, mature housewives with the body of a proper woman. Not a tiny little girl crying during sex... I don't like that.

And I was exploring the different games available, and I was amazed by the amount of boring 2D games with pictures, little to no animations... Just ridiculous amounts of boring projects. The Twist was way out of their league. Real 3D, some good ideas.

There is also a lot of hightech games, with Unreal engine etc... But again... Terrible projects. Poor ideas.

So I'm keep an eye on the project. I think there is something to learn from it.

I'm just surprised SM looks so much less perverted than TT after 2 years in and there is no clear reason why. Patreon is not it, at least not for this dev. He can work around their retarded Fantasy Police. I don't like skipping stuff from the few devs whose content I enjoyed in the past but I also HATE boring shit so... deadlock. I guess I'll skip SM for another few years and see what's what. Shame.

You are right. As i said, they should at least create fake sex scenes, in waiting to finish the story. It's clearly not a porn game.

What about technology. Maybe KST is really just learning, discovering the new unity engine and the whole full 3D options.

In The Twist, we've noticed some "upgrades" that came almost at the same time, like the clothes, haircuts, tatoots, skin tan etc... Diary etc..

We are maybe just dealing with a learning curve. And I do think KST is a single person. Not a team of developers. And it takes plenty of skills to make a game, even a small one. Gameplay, level design, story telling, scripts, effects, drawing, animations, security etc...

So I do believe KST when we are told that the engine is being explored. It's like fundamental research and applications. Fundamental research takes times and brings no short term results.

But when comparing TT and SSM, I see a HUGE difference. The full 3D engine to start with. Imagine the possibilities.

I agree that TT left a lot to be desired both in pure tech and game design so there was A LOT of room for improvement and a new game is a perfect opportunity to introduce such evolutions. However, I'm thoroughly worn out of devs mismanaging expectations and justifying it with good intentions past any decent threshold.

As a follower it can take a very long time to tell when a project is firmly off rails and even longer to tell when it's simply going in a direction that's no longer aligned with own kinks/priorities. Summertime Saga is a prime example of a project going to shit (though it had plenty of red flags before its latest monumental fuckup with the $1.4 million tech update no follower ever saw working in any capacity or be promised a release date after 1 year and 8 months of alleged "work" on it). Another was Lab Rats 2 which I tracked because I loved LR1 but LR2 turned into a 4-5 year monumental adventure of the dev learning how to write a true sandbox game from scratch and heavily deprioritizing attention to the pervy story & details that made LR1 so enjoyable.

Even if we generously assume good intentions (and I do believe that's the case for LR2 and hopefully so is for SM, I don't know enough to have a firm opinion on this one) it's best to painfully let followers know where the project is going or else it will lead to a galactic build up of frustration & ill will.
