Unity Seaside Mystery [v0.28.3] [KsT]

Playing this game for the first time, and during the intro, after meeting Brenda and Carl, screen goes black, and nothing I can do to go past this... tried click, escape, enter, space, etc, and just nothing.
Of course I can restart and skip the intro, but I want to play it to meet the characters and all...
Any idea what happens and how to fix it ?
Edit : that happens only in fullscreen, so at least I have a workaround, but still, there might be an issue here.

for me it works only when I wait at a different location than Michelle's house until 8pm (or later), then go to Michelle's house and use the gate.

This actually worked. I waited in my room until 8PM, then I went to Michelle's house through the gate.

How about just saving the game in general - last time i downloaded i wasn't able to save at all

It works fine. You can save without logging out from the exit button.

Try to leave your room and then enter it again, worked for me.
