Never had to use it before this update, So downloaded it now what?

usually whoever updates the OP uses a pre-Cracked version (check the title of the thread), if it says [cracked] then the download in the OP is already cracked otherwise find the crack and place it in the primary folder (the same one as the Seaside Mystery.exe)
Watch out though the Crack is version specific.

I don't think it's change (game wise) but some people seem to save to different locations
It's either C:\Users\[username]\Documents\SeasideMystery OR in your onedrive
search for "SMsavegame0.dat" to find where yours is

you meet her at the cafe and she will take you home with her... there will be a prompt in your quest log, it'll happen after you have exercised with in the park twice

Keep following the in game hints, some of them are gated by flags from other events. Skip some days if it's empty, some things have a time gate.
