No, it's the game. Specifically how it's being made.
He's making it the same way he did The Twist - Everything that can happen in a location is all loaded up and then whichever one is selected to appear is what we get to see. The rest get left hidden.
That's why there's the occaisional bugs in each release whereby multiple versions of a character appear in a scene, or even characters who shouldn't be there appear.
As more is added to the game in the various locations, each one will progressively get slower to load than it used to be.
I wish that this game have options during the choices window. I want to know what happen to if after Brenda know that MC is fucking the Blonde. What happen that night if MC didn't interrupt Brenda and Carl in the bedroom.

Hello, I just did the "bring Brenda the medicine" quest, and after the "new" dialog "I brought you the medicine" it says Brenda's score has increased. Then after if I click on her again it no longer says "new" but if I chose "I brought you the medicine" then her score increases AGAIN (very small though) and I did that 3 or more times! Whats up with that???

Roadmap? No idea. Next update? Probably on patreon. End of this project? They will probably aim for more content, than they did on The Twist (obvisiously, since they axed that one). If you look at the characters-screen in the current game, you could count a planned range of 15 girls (11 are currently in the game). So if they keep their monthly update-schedule, they still got work for years. And we get some "mysterious" story.
0.27 just came out recently, and each release (not counting bugfix releases) are two months apart.
Heh, got same bug. Can't click em right, if so me neither. This update also crashes sometimes when transitioning to night-time.
