The only thing that should happen by clicking on the wooden boards atm is that the quest from the log disaappears and you can move on to the next one.
If the quest doesn't disappear from the log, it means that dev forgot to close that part while rebuilding.

Finally gave this a try and unfortunately it still has all the same issues as the Twist.
Several areas to free roam but fuck all to do in any of them. Everything is strictly linear.
You're still waiting many, many days to be able to trigger that one action that will advance the plot. You can't even skip ahead reliably cause it sometimes depends on characters being in certain locations and other characters not being there, so unless you memorize the entire schedule for everyone you're just standing in the same damn spot day after day.
After hours and hours of trial and error I haven't even managed to score with Brenda yet (last interaction was the MC pathetically begging to eat her pussy) but I think I'm done with this.
Shame about the wasted potential.

Played a little further in hopes of finally getting somewhere. Why are there so many scenes with the MC desperate to eat Brenda out and she won't let him? Who the fuck's fetish is that? And why is the MC such a whiny bitch about it with Brenda but then an uber creep with the teacher?

For stranger go to top of the hill in the park... For math can't remember this qvest if you did all homework at home ( your room table book) just go to classrom. It's hard to find out where you stuck ..... maybe dicribe your problem more

You have to advance your math completed homework to 5. Can't remember the exact steps, but I think you first need to get strength lvl 2 (prompted when trying to help Brenda in the bedroom by trying to lift the bed, then working out with the new weights you find in the garage), then go beat up the bully outside the college. Oliver will then become available inside the college (floor 2) where you can talk to him a few times and continue the quest with Mrs. Lin. From there it should be more or less smooth sailing.

If you followed the story from the beginning here on Seaside Mystery, you should have read the fact that MC's parents died in a mysterious car accident
and why MC ended up living with Carl and Brenda.
Even after the intro you get several hints while talking to Isabella what happened to his parents
and why MC's so interested to be involved into the investigation of Isabella.
This should be enough to understand that MC in 'Seaside Mystery' has nothing in common with the MC from 'The Twist'.
Janice even tells the MC here on Seaside Mystery what happened in her life before moving to Seaside.
