Moving in this game is one of the most frustrating things I've come across. Where you click is not where the game thinks your mouse is. I was basically doing circles around the table outside trying to pick up the book off of the table. Can have my mouse in the center of a room and it will think it's over a door.

You probably need to pick up a small credit card on the ground near Michelle, then talk to her.
Is there a way to unlock the barrier on the path that leads to the other beach? I can't find any other way to continue the story.
