Of course it is.
It'll continue to get worse each version, just like The Twist.

The real question is to what degree people are willing to put up with it.
i can only speek for myself but i put up with the twist not even 5 minutes before i decided ...no way my lifetime is too precious to waste on this ...and from the comments i get the idea it hasnt changed in the 2nd game so i will skip this for 5 more updates i guess ^^

Its not just loading hell, the game also always puts ur GPU to 100% even if u have a beefy high end one
Last time I played I had to fiddle with the window to lower the rendering resolution, next time I play I'll try using Nvidia inspector, set it to prioritise the GPU temperature.

Is anyone around here a Patreon for this dude to let him know that the cop lady BJ scene from the park is missing from the diary, please?

Mostly I can get past the mistakes in English; after all, nobody speaks every language and when we do speak others, it's usually with mistakes here and there. But KsT consistently thinks then means the same as when. (And IDK, maybe in the dev's original language the words are used interchangeably.) Over and over throughout, I see things similar to this line: "Does it really feel that much better then I am doing it?" I can reread the sentences like this to understand what they mean, but it definitely does make reading the dialogue more challenging than it needs to be. If anyone on this thread is a supporter, you might want to pass along that they mistake these words regularly.

Is there a fix or mod to make it so my computer doesn't sound like a jet engine every time I boot this game up? I got a Core i9 + 4070 setup and I think I can probably cook an egg on that cpu when I run this game no matter what settings I use.

Really? I have an i7-10700 and a GTX 1080 and don't have massive overheating like you seem to. Do you have enough cooling in your computer? I would say you should have a minimum of 5 or 6 fans (at least 2 of them blowing hot air out, with the others blowing in cooler air from outside the computer's case), and not just the heat sink that would come with your motherboard. You might also look into water cooling, which is generally more effective that fans only; just be careful if you do this... it is water, after all, so follow the warnings given if you buy a water cooling system.

That might do it, but I never did anything to limit FPS in my own playthrough and only saw at most 86 fps (when looking straight up at the clouds while at the side of a building, or a cliff in the park), which shouldn't be so bad that a CPU gets as hot as Bustapr describes. Normal use for a CPU would be in the range of 150–185°F (75°–80°C) anyway, which definitely could fry an egg, so it shouldn't be overly concerning. But unless they have 5 fans already or something, I would first look at adding cooling to improve things and get the CPU temp lowered.
