The update would have been better if Brenda's scenes were repeatable. I don’t know about you, but I personally don’t really like watching them just in my diary. Not because I'm lazy, but it just doesn't give me enough immersion. I think many people will agree with me.
Sadly those who agree are not the "vocal minority".
Ironically, that's the kind of thing that "people clamour for" whenever they're asking for a gallery/gallery mod, and other people's saves.
They just want easy access through someone else's time and effort, so they can sit back and fap.

Decent incest can't be retconned by just renaming relations. Name-calling is NOT where the kink lies in or else we could turn a massive proportion of porn games into decent incest porn games very easily. To support decent incest, by now he should've had deep story support (screenplay + choice) for related kinks & taboos. That's missing and there is no way he'll go back and make the significant necessary changes. The risks are far too great: Technically = Code instability risk in past events. Business-wise = Patreon Fantasy Police risk and the kink not landing well with an already very well established paying-supporter base that has even grown and ponied up very reliably without incest.
The ROI to add incest now is very small and the risks are massive. If it works, don't fix it. Incest should've been well weaved in from the start. Now, with the game closer to its end than its start, is far too late.
