No, it's the game. Specifically how it's being made.
He's making it the same way he did The Twist - Everything that can happen in a location is all loaded up and then whichever one is selected to appear is what we get to see. The rest get left hidden.
That's why there's the occaisional bugs in each release whereby multiple versions of a character appear in a scene, or even characters who shouldn't be there appear.
As more is added to the game in the various locations, each one will progressively get slower to load than it used to be.
I wish that this game have options during the choices window. I want to know what happen to if after Brenda know that MC is fucking the Blonde. What happen that night if MC didn't interrupt Brenda and Carl in the bedroom.
