I had issues running Seaside Mystery, and by default, it was running with low FPS (20 FPS). I found a solution that boosted my FPS up to 120-130, so I wanted to share this step-by-step guide for anyone else struggling.


Here’s how you can force the game to run with DirectX 11 or OpenGL:

► Steps to run with DirectX 11:

1. Go to the folder where Seaside Mystery.exe is located.
2. Hold Shift and right-click inside the folder background.
3. Select “Open PowerShell window here” (or "Open Command Window here" if using cmd).
4. In the PowerShell window, type the following command and press Enter:
   powershell

& ".\Seaside Mystery.exe" -force-d3d11

This will force the game to run using DirectX 11.

► Steps to run with OpenGL:

If you want to try OpenGL instead, use this command:

& ".\Seaside Mystery.exe" -force-glcore

► Optional tip: Create a shortcut
If you don't want to use PowerShell every time:

1. Right-click on Seaside Mystery.exe and select Create Shortcut.

2. Right-click the shortcut → Properties.

3. In the Target field, add the command at the end:

"D:\Path\To\Seaside Mystery.exe" -force-d3d11

• Tip: You can change -force-d3d11 to -force-glcore if you prefer to launch the game with OpenGL instead!
Click Apply and use the shortcut to launch the game every time with your chosen graphics API.

Well not works for me on Winlator (before the update the game runs good but this update ruin the game for me...

Was this it or am I missing something? The update ended with the MC only lasting 5 seconds with Michelle?? For an update that felt very Michelle focused and their conversation after the anal scene I thought we would have to find a way to last longer so we can get a better scene but no, the update just ended. It was so anticlimactic and she didn't even had a proper scene in the update.

Can I get your save file if possible? I can't get that last scene.

The logic in game of this game is so ridiculous at times. Things like making a cocktail for Brenda, I was carrying around those "cold" drinks for almost a week before I finally found when I could give them to her. (She just wasn't ever in the hot tub.)

Right now she got upset about having Janice come over, wouldn't talk to me, so I slept woke up to her asking for medication. On the way to the pharmacy got asked to give the box to Freya, skipped the hour for the store to open instead of going back to Brenda. Gave the box, accidentally headed back into the store and got the "latex with Janice' scene (Thought I got the bugged out all white screen version).

Woke up the next morning, can't even click on Brenda without me saying she is pissed or her telling me she is pissed. "I got your cold medicine, moron, you said you needed it."

That was a week ago. No idea when I will stumble into the right time for her to either not be pissed, or want the cold medicine.

Almost as dumb as the two times I went to a detectives house at 7 am, she dressed up all slutty and then I brought her to a park to met up with some college kids, at 7:00 am.

Edit: Ended up being 10 days, I had the choice of either giving her the gift or the medicine, I chose the gift just to make myself laugh. Got the scene, next day gave the medicine I feel like two different quests lines got crossed up, and ran concurrently. I have never played this game before.

It's white when replayed from the diary as well. I tried looking at it from v29.1, game closed as soon as I clicked on the scene from the diary.

Also went back to Old Town in the evening around 19:00 for a separate reason, as soon as I spawned in the white scene played again,

The typical assembly.dll method hasn't been done, because an alternative that may work for future versions has been found.
