Well, he is not alone with that "problem". Media all around is pirated. A few years ago, the recipients of pirated shows cooled down, because it wasn't that expensive and one didn't need that many different services.I think KsT is not stupid, he knows that his game is being passed around like a hooker at a New Year's Eve party.
And imho that's the only way to "defeat" piracy, by having better service than with the pirated product.
DRMs with adult games probably don't have the desired effect of "This product can't be pirated, so I need to buy it". It mostly has the opposite effect of "Now I don't want to give this dev any money at all, because he uses his time on useless stuff (and made me annoyed)".
Devs should just utilize this and take it as a chance for free marketing and maybe getting some money out of it after people have had a good time with it.
