Sorry for the stupid question, but I wonder how much harder it is to bypass the protection compared to the previous times?

it's not about bypassing, it's about finding where functions went after some code shifting.
my patterns hit about 2-6 results, and one of them hit 30+ results. i checked all 30 with a wrong patch and i only needed the 2nd in line that took me additional almost an hour instead of couple minutes

the dev updated the engine but game code still is the same. so not a big deal

What application are you using to check the code? dnSpy doesn't seem to work or BeepInx/Melon Loader can't decompile. And what code do you look for? Just for future reference.
