Not hating on the game. but the fact that I need to go to sleep every time I need to progress through the story is just...wow, dude.

interesting game design choice lol. Idk how the result of which is anything other than the player getting frustrated.
My first thought was to check the surrounding beach for her, then all the places she usually shows up, then all the places where that female statue is in the city since that seemed like a clue in the cave... That would have been a cool little puzzle to solve if there were clues at all the statues or something, but I guess giving up and sleeping was the correct answer. Fuck me for trying to actually
