Here's my experience as one of his first followers: he did fine in the first 2 years, however when his mental problem showed up, this is what you see. Months of non responding nor any post. I mean no matter what you send him, no respond, as if he perished from earth(I don't tempt to say dead because I still like his animation).

I think the first version has the complete dialogues while the second has less or none of it and just focuses on the "action".
