seriously internet service in europe sucks. in the latest email dev said it would take at least until the 15th to get service installed. over three months to install, so bad and absolute garbage

Sometimes I get upset about the state of ISP duopolies in North America. Then I remember there are places like Bosnia, and my up/down doesn't seem so bad.
oh, rareAlex is from Europe ? which country ? i guess not latvia (or was it lithuania ?) they have excellent internet there.
As long as it takes with the internet, it almost sounds like Germany... Bureaucracy and it takes forever with orders.

And does this ultra-developed European country have problems with the Internet? It's pretty weird. After RareAlex told several times that he had problems with his ISP and Internet installation, I honestly thought that RareAlex lived somewhere in Cambodia or in some African country.

His neighbor tried to extort him for money to get internet hooked up since the cabeling and such was in that side of the property. He proceeded to ask the corpo's and thus began months of no internet until they got back to him on the 5th. The main issue still being that they need to dig and add new cables. It was either wait for the actual people to come in professionaly or be at the mercy of the neighbor who know what they were doing.And does this ultra-developed European country have problems with the Internet? But what about the mobile Internet? It's very fast now and not very expensive. Any smartphone can distribute Internet via Wi-fi. I was in Poland not so long ago and 50 GB of mobile Internet cost me 15 euros per month. What kind of hole do you need to dig into so that there is no mobile Internet?
I'm from Cambodia's neighbour country (no idea about Cambodia tho) using 1GB download/500MB upload speed here for about $25 per month. I still remember when I contacted ISP, they called me back so fast in just like an hour or two and can come install and get everything ready in just 1 or 2 day top. I guess these guys in our country wanna sell their stuff so bad lol, no idea why it is opposite for European countries, it's like customers are begging for them to work. Even mobile internet, here we can just pay for them online by ourselves with no staff included in the process.And does this ultra-developed European country have problems with the Internet? The quality/speed/consistency of mobile internet depends heavily on where you are and how good the cell coverage is. I was on vacation last week somewhere where my mobile internet was good enough to check my mail, but not good enough to successfully download the measly excel file I had to fill out and send back for work.

You need cell towers or cables, some villages in europe don't have good internet yet.

He has a mobile hot spot but it's not even remotely viable for uploading builds. With how large SCC is, he'd spend an entire day just trying to upload assuming it doesn't fail and that's just the one build. His itch side has 8 seperate links to upload especially for those also with shit internet on top of a Mac build.
Alex has said that his hot spot is enough for Discord and Youtube but nothing else. He can't even play games either.
I mean, it's all a person knows at times. If someone says "my countries taxes suck!" it's what they know so of course they'll say it. Not many are versed in how the entire world works nor would they really care to learn
