Meanwhile, remaked Roxanne is doing very well and looks good.
Will Seleka still be the queen or will Roxanne rule the exhibitionism?:)
i checked out roxanne and it was ok it just felt like it was trying to be seleka a little to much and not its own thing so far its really early in development so i think its to soon to say whether it will be any thing really good but what's there is not bad so i have some good expectations maybe there will be the chance for roxanne to actually have sex unlike seleka but only time will tell

Uncensor plugin.
you must install the first. current latest ver is # .

Edit. the Dildo has issue(?). solved.
Edit2. fixed unstable works of uncensor. plz re-download plugin.

Install
  • Install BepInEx BE. (extract it to game folder)
  • Run game once. the BepInEx\unity-libs folder will be created.
  • put plugin file(barenai_helper.dll) to BepinEx\plugins folder.

Features
  • Uncensored
  • F1 : Muteki(invincibility) toggle. (different from game built-in)

I'm not sure if I'm doing it right i downloaded ver #674 because i assumed it would work did all the steps but i dont know if i have the files in the right folders please advise thanks. I have it Seleka 1.3\BepInEx\BepInEx\plugins 1732743109221.png

I couldn't get on with it personally, Seleka just feels better to me!
That could change with updates, but I think seleka 2 will blow them both out the water.
It's true that Seleka is more user-friendly in basic controls and simple fun. Roxanne fails in this and there is still a lack of balance in quests, exp gain, etc. On the other hand, there are some interesting funny ideas, nice maps, phone - go live...

I'm betting on the dev who has a proven track of completing games.
Jap devs and their "small project - short-dev cycle". I like their style too. Completed or nothing.

The dev admits that he took Seleka as an inspiration.
On the other hand, Jaguar (Roshutsu dev) decided to quit because Seleka is what he wanted, so he doesn't need to continue and try to revive the game.
Seleka influences everything.
About sex and Roxanne..It doesn't seem like the dev is planning it for the main game, but it could have been part of some free mod.
You can still try "Kanon-chan" (similar to Seleka, but it feels like a demo, very limited), where there is sex (just CG). Samantha might contain sex, but at the moment it's a bugged mess..

You have the Mono version of BepInEx. You need IL2CPP version.
Also the path must be ...Game-BepInEx-plugins (extract the archive).

Ok I'm using the latest IL2CPP version but i still cant get it to work are you saying to delete the IL2CPP version folder and only use the BepInEx folder like in the second image? Also which IL2CPP version is the right one? i know it's one of the two thanks so much. 1732745154476.png 1732745078336.png 1732745020550.png

You can choose x64 version.
Also you need to get all the contents of the zip archive into the main game folder. So "BepInEx" folder, "dotnet" folder, winhttp.dll, doorstop etc.
Everything must be placed in the game folder "near exe". You have BepInEx folder only.

Roxanne is too early in development to say. There's a chance that maybe it will be better than Seleka but I highly doubt it will be better than Seleka 2, which looks like it's gonna be the best game ever.
Roxanne seems like it's trying to mimic Seleka too much instead of standing on its own and the dev seems a bit confused, no offense. Only time will tell, I'm at least glad we get more games like this while we wait for Seleka 2.

The more the merrier. Good games where exhibitionism is the main theme, with mechanics and gameplay centered around it, and not just one fetish out of hundreds are few and far between, so even if one ends up better than the other I'll still be a fan of both

These are the awnsers GPT gave me imma see which ones the issue

Modding a game like *Seleka San* on your Steam Deck using BepInEx can run into compatibility issues because the Deck uses a Linux-based OS (SteamOS) rather than Windows. Here are the possible reasons the mod isn't working and solutions to try:

---

### 1. **Proton Compatibility**
- **Problem**: BepInEx is designed for Windows, and Steam Deck uses Proton to run Windows games. BepInEx needs proper setup to function under Proton.
- **Solution**:
- Ensure Proton is enabled for the game:
1. Go to the game in your Steam Library.
2. Click the gear icon > **Properties** > **Compatibility**.
3. Check **Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool** and select the latest version of Proton.
- Run the game once to confirm it starts properly under Proton.

---

### 2. **Correct BepInEx Version**
- **Problem**: You might be using a Windows version of BepInEx that doesn't fully work on Linux/Proton.
- **Solution**:
- Use **BepInEx x86** for 32-bit games or **BepInEx x64** for 64-bit games.
- Ensure you're using the appropriate version for Unity games.
- You can download the latest version from [BepInEx releases on GitHub](https://github.com/BepInEx/BepInEx/releases).

---

### 3. **File Placement Issues**
- **Problem**: The directory structure might differ on Steam Deck.
- **Solution**:
1. Locate the game’s installation folder:
- In desktop mode, open Steam, right-click the game, and select **Manage > Browse local files**.
2. Extract the BepInEx files into this folder (not a subfolder).
3. Ensure the **BepInEx\plugins** folder exists and contains `barenai_helper.dll`.

---

### 4. **Permissions Issues**
- **Problem**: The Steam Deck might block certain modifications.
- **Solution**:
- Ensure that the game folder and its files are not set to read-only.
- Run the game with elevated privileges:
1. Open Steam in desktop mode.
2. Use a terminal to navigate to the game folder and run it directly.

---

### 5. **Proton Environment Variables**
- **Problem**: Proton might not recognize BepInEx automatically.
- **Solution**:
1. Edit the launch options for the game in Steam:
```
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp=n" %command%
```
2. This ensures Proton prioritizes BepInEx.

---

### 6. **Check Game Output Logs**
- **Problem**: Errors during initialization might prevent the mod from loading.
- **Solution**:
- After running the game once, check the `BepInEx` folder for logs (e.g., `BepInEx\LogOutput.log`).
- Look for errors that might indicate missing dependencies or incorrect setup.

---

### 7. **Native Linux BepInEx**
- **Alternative**: If all else fails, you can try the **BepInEx for Linux Unity Games** version:
- Follow [BepInEx Linux Guide](https://docs.bepinex.dev/articles/advanced/steamdeck.html) to set it up.

---

### Final Checklist
- Ensure Proton is configured.
- Verify that you’ve placed BepInEx files and the `.dll` in the correct directories.
- Check logs for errors and re-run the setup if needed.

Let me know if you run into specific errors or need further assistance!

Sorry. I have no experience with this.
The only thing I can think of is to use the BepInEx version for Linux, otherwise the same procedure. But I've never tried it.

This game is based on the Unity engine and I have managed to get mods working on Unity games before, mainly those translation plugins.
https://f95zone.to/threads/translation-request-nootousan-tono-rj01104619-cat-3.184594/post-14847179
I've tested that game while using the same files as Windows players so I know it works on Linux.

Follow the steps under Proton/Wine since the game is built for Windows.
Which means you use the Windows 64 bit option for the BepInEx plugin.
The guide tells you what you need to do but the location it's referring to is for playing on Steam.
Chances are, the game is not running via Steam so you have to change that location to wherever you put your game in.

The gist of all these is that BepInEx uses winhttp.dll to inject itself into Unity games to run mods on it.
Those steps in the guide is telling your Proton/WIne to use that winhttp.dll when it runs your games.

It would be a lot easier if you added the game to Lutris and use Lutris to manage the game.
It makes tweaking the wine configuration a lot easier in my opinion.
And personally, I like to use Lutris to launch Windows games outside of Steam.

Here's a guide that I managed to find on Youtube.

Follow that guide to add the game on Lutris.

Once added, try running it to see if it launches.
For this game, Secret Flasher Sereka, I've tested using UMU-Latest and it can launch.

1733057270745.png
Once you have confirmed that you can run the game, now is the part where you try to open the Wine config for that Wine prefix.
A Wine prefix is like a Windows environment, the reason for it is for different programs to be isolated, so they don't interfere with each other.
So you select this option
1733057465093.png
And the following will appear
Select winhttp, click ok and you are done.
1733057559868.png
Now you can mod Unity games using BepInEx.
And it works for other Unity engine games using that same Wine prefix, since they all share the same wine config.

Gaming on Linux is a journey and I would have you know that I did struggle this issue in the past.
