Just tell a player what it means, and you can mark a 'if you click the highlight it will have a benefictial/good outcome' sign with an elephant symbol and it will fulfill it's purpose.

Thumbs up and green for "good", thumbs down and red for "bad" are all pretty universal, whereas those arrows are usually seen to indicate direction, often for "next" and "previous" motions.

Yes, but they won't be the MC's daughters.
I can confirm that the MC doesn't have any more daughters (I saw a comment somewhere wondering if this was going to end up like my previous game, where everyone was related )
Also, since you mentioned it - When you visited the MC's sister, Lucy, there was a brief discussion about her son being away in college. The son is not a part of the story and will remain away at college.
I have some male characters in this story, but the only dick you'll see in any of my games belongs to the MC.


Regarding the thumbs up/down icons - I'll see what I can do to make them less intrusive.

First time playing this game and I like it, but there's one thing that I find a bit cringe, it's how much of a bad guy they(devs) are making Pete look. I get that harem games often despise other male characters, we see all the time that fathers, brothers, uncles, male neighbors and so on are all jerks, but for God sake, Pete is dead, he's not going to resurrect to steal any of your LI, let the guy just rest in piece.

He borrowed money leaving a debt, he tried to rape his sister, tried to rape the mc's ex-wife and right now, before I took a break to write this, I'm about to visit my sister and I can bet that she's going to say something bad about Pete as well (I can see from a mile away).

Pete started out as this pretty standup guy, but I guess we can't have a nice guy other than the mc, even if he's dead. They did him so dirty that they even took his daughter from him, shockingly she's the mc's daughter.

Okay, rant is over, now that's out of my system, I will continue with the story.

I hope lesbian stuff is fully avoidable, and not a major focus, because it would suck to miss tons of action just because I'm not a fan of girl-on-girl and it being assumed to be "awesome and so hot," so much so that even in some games were you can opt out of it the Mc unilaterally still says things about how hot it is and how he's cool with it. I honestly don't even want to know which girls will do it, I'd rather it be fully, truly, optional and I can just believe that none of the girls would be willing to have sex with someone else because they actually only love the Mc and want to be with him and don't just magically become bisexual for some reason. Sorry for the mini-rant, just seems like 90% of harem games force lesbian stuff and many even judge the payers for not wanting it, or just assume that everyone lose it.

I think part of the Pete stuff is to show that the Mc's perceptions were off, and it sets the Mc up to learn to look past the "face" that people show him, so to speak. that his old way of thinking and seeing the world made him miss things and now he'll have to recalibrate the way he sees things and the way he interacts with others. And there are other guys in the story that are, so far, aren't portrayed badly. The bartender is a small role, but also if you don't take the ride from Sarah you get to meet Bill, and he seems like an okay guy so far, at least not like Pete who was a closet rapist. I do think Bill is more than he seems, maybe working with the criminals knowingly or not, and maybe some other revelations to come too, but so far he isn't a terrible guy. I don't think there is some anti-other guy thoughts going on, just that so far most of the guys the Mc has met in story are the criminals, so that's why they are not good. And as I said I think getting revelations about Pete is part of the Mc's growth arc into a man who can handle the criminals he will be interacting with better.

That was one guy's opinion. Mine is that it is in no way intrusive and can stay just as it it. Maybe wait to see is anyone else has a problem with it before doing anything.

Now, let me tell you my "one guy's opinion". You seem to use a lot of auto forwarding of images. I think it's totally fine when you are just showing something moving across the screen to simulate movement, like the car driving through the country. But I don't like it most of the time you are using it, let the reader/player advance through the screens at their own pace. Like I said, I'm just one guy voicing his opinion so I don't expect you to make any changes for me. If there are more people out there who say the same thing then maybe you may want to reconsider.

Constructive criticism is one thing, complaining about features and fetishes a whole other. Trying to change how a dev does his work by complaining and whining is extremely ridiculous.

I don't have a problem with this at all. It's not about the "stealing your LI" thing at all - as you say he's dead. It's not like he's still out there somewhere and so the dev is trying to make you not like him. It's more about the story of it. It gives cause for some of the interactions MC has with other characters, in particular Alison and Nettie, and is the cause of some of the conflict in the game (again, particularly Nettie). Without this hidden past that Pete had, MC would just be plodding along as he is, at least with those characters, instead of questioning his past and how he didn't see what was going on because he trusted his best friend beyond question. It also comes into the current story and your choices if you go for the "bad" result with Nettie, which would have had far less meaning if this bit of history wasn't there.

I agree with the others stuff you say, even if I'm one of the ones who is absolutely onboard with the lesbian stuff and can't wait for some of the scenes I expect to see - I appreciate that not everyone agrees and it should always be behind a choice in order to be as inclusive as possible for both tastes. For this bit though, I was thinking the same. The whole thing with the tanker being left alone and emptied might not normally mean anything - I mean, it's a delivery after all, even if the driver might normally be there to oversee/facilitate etc. - but here the dialogue/thoughts around it just lent the scenes a slightly sinister edge. I also don't think Bill's a bad guy (and he certainly has shown the opposite, although so did Pete), and suspect there may be a revelation to come in terms of his history as well...

Yes.
I'm considering putting Group Sex as an optional fetish that you can disable, as I've done with Incest.
This way, you won't have to constantly try to avoid it.
If Group Sex is enabled, you won't be forced to have group sex in every situation; it'll still be your choice. But for those who have it disabled, they won't know it was an option to begin with.

If the complaint is valid (as in the Dawn situation a few pages back), then I'm happy to admit I got it wrong and correct the issue.
