Well you kinda described it. She's cheating on MC so it doesn't really make sense that she would be heartbroken when she finds out that he's cheating on her, upset would be the reaction I would expect, not heartbroken.
Also it's just weird that the dev said that she loves him and cares about him more than anything or something along those lines, if I love someone and care about them more than anything, I am not going to cheat on them, that's just contradictory.
Also it's not like a one time thing where she does it once and feels so guilty that she confesses right after that which again undermines the argument that she cares about Mc more than anything.
So yeah, people want to dump her ass exactly because she's cheating on MC, it's literally that simple...
Edit: And even if I was gonna ignore all this and went just by logic, if both people in a relationship are cheating on each other they probably shouldn't be in a relationship so that would be another reason to "dump her ass".

And I saw the comments about the cheating girlfriend before playing, and as I was playing all I could say is "wow look the girlfriend is banging her mom.... The people complaining/crying/whining didn't play until 0.10 released, aside from a couple that said they had but conveniently forgot and decided to continue to cry about it.
They just want to live in their sad little fantasy where they can get away with "all the things" and no other character ever does the same, or anything remotely similar. Kids masquerading as adults.

What kind of argument is that??? The vast majority of the people play games exactly to live out their "sad little fantasy" because they can get away with "all the things" unlike real life, where you can't really get away with them. That's like the purpose of videogames, to escape real life and to play out your fantasy.

Well that question is not so easy to answer, since it depends on the player in question, how he plays the game and so on. One thing is we tend to forgive our Mc more due to immersing in him (Yeah that is not fair, but still true) and due to that we wish the best for him even if he is not perfect or even a full on asshole as well.
I said it before, I do think the story of this game is intriguing, just a little bit too much focus on other dick and pussy having action shown for my taste and a few fetishes unavoidable like MMF that are particular turnoffs for me. Now due to the overall story and the supernatural influences, most of the action in game does not directly shine a bad light on the ladies in question as potential partners, but it does not always help. Though with Jason and his Mom/sis it might have been nicer if was stated that the relation as such was originated by a demon.
Now Ella, as far as we players can see she is cheating with the Mom and may be a more or less willing victim due to the grooming by Mom. Well some may have overlooked that grooming and victim part. For others though that is turn off in itself especially with how willing and passive a victim she has become in our view. I know it does not sounds nice, but unless you are an incorrigible white knight, victims make bad partners/LI and are not really sexy unless your intention is to abuse them as well, especially those who have accepted being a victim. Ella may be sweet, but she shows little prospect for MC (when compared to for example Selina or even the daughter demon herself) or likable sides yet. Maybe when we get to know her better in person that will change. Her having been far apart from Mc for most of game until now did not help her either with many players and having had first action shown with her Mom.
At this moment it is much more Lillith I would want to help, same crazy mother but she is still fighting and seems way more worth the trouble MC will have to deal with as Ella does until now if he wants to help them. Just my opinion, but maybe it will help making Ella more likable in future, by making her seem a little less passive in her situation. Either by making her wanting the situation with Mom more or at least have her show some backbone.
For again other players, they just do not wish to share period and even less with the kind of people that are the sexual antagonists shown in this game like the dad, Jason and that Mom of Ella, especially in a harem/romance game, well those players are likely in the wrong game, due to the overall story that is being told. Which is the exact reason why I actually give this game way more leeway with other dick/pussy shown as I would tolerate with a more pure romantic game.
The way she is now, Ella rides the uncomfortable middle ground a bit too much and there is not enough to like about her and really want to save her or hate fuck her. Some fetishes do clash though for a lot of players and this is not a pure romance/dating game with all those devils around. That is why I said before I think it would be wise for the context of this side to have the NTR tag applied. Too many sexual antagonists shown in action, both male and female, and the tag is here not just for the strict definition of the genre but also for the elements in that genre that are a big turnoff too many, whether a game is full on NTR or you might quibble who it is that is sharing or if a person is a LI already in the first place.
