Yeah alright good luck learning Unreal lmfao.barely played SotD and i don't even know what the fuck is rocket boost
Not gonna lie, it would be weird asfk, but pretty funThink they'll ever add multiplayer?
i never said what engine i use to develop a game but mkayYeah alright good luck learning Unreal lmfao.
Basically rocket boost is aiming an explosive weapon at your feet and flying 20 feet high in the sky. You can do it with Grenades, Grenade Launcher or the Rocket Launcher weapon. And admittedly it's kinda based, especially when doing the Supermarket ending sequence where you can launch yourself to a teammate in a matter of seconds.i never said what engine i use to develop a game but mkay
Honestly, it kind of shocks me how good the game feels to play. I stopped playing after chapter 3 because I want to start over once the DLC comes out, but the train sequence on hard was legitimately epic.Basically rocket boost is aiming an explosive weapon at your feet and flying 20 feet high in the sky. Now you know why so many of us like this game. The game is quite fun despite its flaws.Honestly, it kind of shocks me how good the game feels to play. I stopped playing after chapter 3 because I want to start over once the DLC comes out, but the train sequence on hard was legitimately epic.
Having to run back and forth, fucking your squad non-stop to keep their actives up, all while trying to stay alive through the constant dog-piling of zombies? Shit was insane.
Is it like TF2 where you need to do precise aim and movement otherwise you get blasted in some random direction or is it easy to line up? Because that sounds like fun but I wouldn't bother if it takes much practiseBasically rocket boost is aiming an explosive weapon at your feet and flying 20 feet high in the sky. You literally need to just aim at your feet while sprinting and you'll be launched in the direction you're running in, although if you're feeling fancy you can turn 180 degrees and shoot the ground behind you while jumping to get launched a bit further. Is it like TF2 where you need to do precise aim and movement otherwise you get blasted in some random direction or is it easy to line up? I like it so far. My first run is on Very Hard, and the Train level's final sequence fucked me up mentally. That shit was insanely difficult even with the molotov cocktails and the highest ammo pile perk. I found out that swapping Ichiko with Aya helped out a lot since her special is a forcefield-type attack.Honestly, it kind of shocks me how good the game feels to play. If you want an extra challenge (while we wait for the DLC), try doing a challenge run like I did: play on Very Hard but with zero skills equipped and also don't use any consumables on the girls before the missions. Having no skills equipped on very hard is intense to say the least and will push the limits of your ability with the game.I like it so far. That extra challenge sounds like a masochistic one rofl. The Train stage gave me nightmares and I don't intend to do it again anytime soon with even more hurdles than the game physically intends to put on the player. If you want an extra challenge (while we wait for the DLC), try doing a challenge run like I did: play on Very Hard but with zero skills equipped and also don't use any consumables on the girls before the missions. Then I went even crazier and did a 2nd run, but now with the addition of using a cheat engine to reset and lock the girls levels from 10 back to 1, so that they are even more useless than their AI is already. Shit was so intense in a good way, and indeed the train event is pure hell and might even come down to luck during this challenge. Some levels are easier than others, but a few sections here and there on certain missions can instantly fuck you up.
I normally run with Ichika, but on harder difficulties (and in this challenge run) she's a liability. Due to being a sniper she falls behind constantly (you need to keep moving) and 90% of the time she is the 1st to go down. In the train section with limited space and zombie coming from all sides she is literally just zombie food.
While doing the challenge, if I recall correctly I must have reset the 3rd mission around 7 times or so, all because of the final train event. At some point before clearing it I even went ahead and started doing the subsequent missions and only later came back to try and finish the 3rd one. It is that bad. That extra challenge sounds like a masochistic one rofl. I probably had some shit tier luck.
But you're right, Ichika might become useless at Level 1, considering that if luck is on your side and you get a Battlehawk, you can oneshot all common mobs. Seriously, how the fuck does a simple ass pistol do more damage than a semi automatic military sniper rifle? And speaking of Pistols, the Revolver is good enough as an infinite ammo two-shotter, but the Cyber Pistol is worse than even the default gun. I think it needs some balancing, like making it fully auto and also having it become more accurate while firing instead of losing accuracy.. explain it away through it being an alien weapon idk
PS: Seeing the Battlehawk completely disintegrate mob enemies with one shot while you're buffed, is a wondrous sight to behold.
I hope soNaked apron costume?
I would make a balance mod if it were up to me, honestly. All the guns sort of feel samey, and that leopard print SMG gun is completely worthless. Who the heck mixes high fire rate with low ammo capacity? The Spas is literally better than Moss, which is the worst shotgun. In fact, all the shotguns are shit except the rare one which reloads the magazine in one go. (That also has a bug where it follows the same logic as all other shotguns and you can fire it while it's reloading)While doing the challenge, if I recall correctly I must have reset the 3rd mission around 7 times or so, all because of the final train event. As of now it is the hardest single event in the game on higher difficulties. You can cheese other events, like the one were we defending the crates were you can just stand on the top the crate in the dark corner of the street and just focus on defending that, and as you mentioned you can cheese the school band event too. But not the train event: too limited of a space to dodge or reposition, too much special infected at the same time, enemies spawn from all directions, no ammo refill or items. Pretty doable with max skills and a good combination of them (increased max grenades does wonders there), but without any skills? Prepare for hell.
Yeah the cyber pistol is garbage. It was already trash in the previous game, and when I started playing the 2nd one and saw it at the end of the pistol skill tree I thought that they would fixed and balanced it. Since you have to pick one of the two, the revolver ends up being a no-brainer. Then again my preferred build does not include pistol skills at all so it's all good.
