On paper, this game was everything I ever wanted in an H-game. But in execution, it missed the mark so hard lmao. Still a good overall experience, even if the game feel is a little off.
Totally agree. Game have a good core but needs A LOT of polishing:
1. guns needs rework so all of them would be useful, for now most of it is clearly inferiour to 3 or 4 best ones. And because of that most hard encounters are hard just because you have shit weapons. My biggest disappointment was a machine gun - it's a weapon supposed to take down hordes or fat enemies like tintan or butcher but it have absoulete shit damage - you need 3 headshots or 8 shots to kill single z, or more than 1 cartridge box to kill fat enemy. And placeholder reloading animation is the cherry on the top. Another disappointment is p90 - it the same problem with overrun of bullets for single enemy but now because of shitty spread - you can shoot 10 bullets and only 1 or 2 would hit the enemy. Overall it makes their big magazines useless. Impulse pistol is another shit decision - it's no different from started glock (only 5 bullets more in magazine) but needs a skill slot for it. Just why? They could make automatic fire or no reloading at least and it would be understandable why I should choose it instead of (superior in damage and accuracy) revolver. Also they could give an opportunity for you to choose main weapons to for revisiting cleared stages or make high level skill that allows you to choose one or both main weapons before starting a stage.
2. Defeat scenes - same animations for all girls is disappointing (in first game girls had different animations) and lack of details makes unsatisfying expression. You should feel bad because of gruesome death of girl is your fault cause you didn't save her, not because it looks like shit.
3. Sex scenes - I understand that they hoped for censorship but still, penetrating animation worse than early SFM works - dick just go through the texture and that's all. And dick is clipping through the back of the girl of course. Seriously, damn, what the fuck is this shit quality? It's not impossible to make, I think, developers are just lazy - censorship means saved budget you baka gaijin.
Another thing about it is this "ludo-narrative dissonance" meme in sex scenes. You can heal-fuck girls in the first stage (and you just meet them in story) but they are still acts like nothing happened in initimacy events. Harem room also could be added to this - I think it should be allowed to use only after you maxxed all girls, not before it. But seems like developers don't give a fuck. Thanks that PoV camera surprisingly not shit most of the times.
And NTR events - a lot of missed opportunities here with interacrion with MC. For example, there could be "free roam" events where girls closed in her room and you can here her moaning when come close to door. Shower room have big setup but it didn't used at all - I have already two ideas just poped in mind - scene where MC have shower while girl being fucked behind mirror and second where MC finally can went inside of this room and there he sees that girl being banged in shower. But game doesn't have anything of it. Also, again with "ludo-narrative dissonance" meme - to be fair, NTR is written paralled with initimacy events so you can feel a progression, but there aren't any hints or connections in initimacy events to NTR events. Also it could be good if NTR events also gives girls power-ups or blocked sex scenes with MC after you finished all NTR events - first and foremost NTR is narrative thing and developers does nothing with it, despite having many opportunities, it just feels as extra scenes in game and that's all.
Overall I think that game already have many things to improve. But they are decided to went quantity, not quality - new girl (with the same "ludo-narrative" problems), new monsters (with the same quality of death scenes problems) and wtf even this idol stuff and all?
