i really like the game. I just wish there was more to being a subby bitch to the wife (with the 4 armed demon (cant remember her name, sorry) - the few scenes available (for me) are just amazing
I think the NTR space is very interesting with this game. Personally, I enjoy all types of content, although I'm not an NTR fan. I think the art is good and the story is good, and based on the comments, others who find NTR content good seem to believe the latest scene does a good job expanding on the NTR relationship between Alexia and Andras.
The reason I think it's interesting is because as the NTR relationship grows between the two, it's probable the relationship between Rowan and Alexia begins to get weaker. The result of a weakening relationship but... lack of knowledge of the growth between Andras and Alexia could create many different branches for Act 2. Even if Rowan knows, plenty of various branches. Even if the relationship between Rowan and Alexia isn't weakening, there are plenty. As you can see, the possibilities are numerous and it leaves plenty of possibility of how it'll affect Act 2 in the air. It's difficult to guess what'll happen next. The devs can take that reality and make it a game changing circumstance for Act 2, or it can have a major impact on what happens, with the same result at the end, just a different peak in the story... so as I said before, endless possibilities.
Technically speaking though, the same could be said about every other relationship... and that's why what the devs are doing in this Act is interesting. The very powerful and loving relationship with everyones favorite futa character can have a massive impact on Act 2. Regardless if it's between Rowan and just her, or Rowan, her and Alexia, or between Alexia and just her.
Same can be said with everyones favorite minatour. Thats why I enjoy all the content. The possibilities are endless, and it's difficult to know what'll happen in Act 2 because of all these possible branches. It'll be interesting to see where the devs take the story next.

Updates as often as it ever has. Been forever since the actual narrative moved forward though.
i enjoyed the game well enough when it was still being updated, but honetly i feel like they could of gone into act 2 like 10 updates ago and been fine. so with that in mind i just use unren
i just started playing the game and i was wondering if its really that bad as in u have to keep track of a lot of saves? also what is unren? Is this also a veeery long game?
any ideea how to install the mod that unlocks the scenes on phone? i have no ideea where to fidn the folder of the game
I mean considering the choices in this game always come down to "support Andras", "support Jezera", "grab power for yourself" or "support team humans", there's pretty much guaranteed to be a martyr ending where Rowan completely undermines the demons and suffers because of it.
I think there's already an ending where Alexia has to execute Rowan if you miss one of the early game goals. Been a while since I played this game so I could be misremembering.

Is this update broken for anyone else? I got to the new Andras x Alexia scene and I got some errors in the top corner that said "cg not found" and then when one of the new NPCs talks, I get an error screen I have to ignore. Presumably the character sprite isn't in the game yet? I don't remember older updates being this level of unfinished and buggy. I just remember if there was no cg you just get a black background

The actual "game" parts of this game feel simultaneously under-baked and overwhelmingly present. Much of the hexsploration stuff just grinds the pace of the game to a complete halt without cheats. Once the intro finishes, the first stretches of the actual game have basically nothing to do with the actual plot unless you already know which hexes you need to go to *and* get lucky on certain random event rolls. (Side note: it has been a minute or two since I did a full actual playthrough, so some stuff may have changed, though it doesn't seem to have really done anything by looking through the patchnotes.) If you're not sure of where to go, or want to explore as far as you can before triggering the story events, the plot fucks off. It doesn't help that the management elements of the castle and finding resources across the map don't seem to really do anything. Every time I've played it without cheats, I've been sitting there, wishing they had made a more traditional visual novel so I wouldn't be wasting my fucking time on the hexsploration without much to show. Boredom grows with every week you spend not triggering any events because most of the map is blank. Weekend events also hurt the pacing; you can be trying to push for a map objective only to be interrupted by long, unrelated weekend events, but you can also be hoping to trigger something that weekend to break up the monotony and get nothing so you have to go back to the map and spend another week.
For me, it feels like the story they want to make and the game they've built it around butt heads constantly. They really want to write a dual-protagonist dark fantasy with sexual elements and a fairly linear narrative that branches at specific points depending on decisions the player makes. However, the gameplay wants to support a more open-world approach with a static protagonist trailing through a large variety of vignettes. Even Rowan has two personalities that both make the other feel off. He struggles with his morality and grapples with great changes in his life during the main story, but in the vingettes across the world, he turns into a very promiscuous person that rarely comments on any morality or really struggles with any decisions. Only a few of the smaller stories feel like he's the same person at all (mostly stuff they wrote early on). It feels like there wasn't sufficient internal documentation or discussion between a team of multiple writers, or even that many things were written by volunteers or contractors.
I've heard that eventually a continuation of the story after the end of this "first act" will come in the form of a sequel game and honestly I hope they move away from the gameplay they've based the game around. The writers they have (or had, I dunno if they've kept all their writers) could make a more traditional VN work a lot better that the structure they're working with now. They'd be able to pace things out for the actual needs of the story rather than operating at the whims of random events and gameplay decisions.

the actual game fucking sucks ass, it's a poor attempt at some sort kingdom management/conquest sim, and the devs attempt to pretend it's anything more than just a porn game.
The game would work better as a VN with a few simpler UI elements for kingdom management stuff, or just streamline the whole management process.
As it stands, you can literally skip all dialogue and kinda just bumblefuck your way through the game without issue. The only failstates being not paying attention to the goals in time.

Agreed 100%. Its fairly nice art held hostage behind a janky, garbled, mess of a game.
Ofc, I am just saying that Astarte is as good a place as any for that ending. The idea would be that while at earlier points Rowan betraying them would not get them killed, at Astarte it should be possible for him to get them bound or killed especially if he can contact the right people.
True, if you reached a point where she is obedient to either of them maybe she could survive as their slave.
I don't think the exploration element is handled bad, it is the core RPG systems like leveling, skills and combat that seem largely pointless.
But I'm a dirty cheater so I don't mind that part.
