It is optional. If you think it makes for bad pacing or a bad story. You don't have to do it. But other people like it. Not you. Not Me. But it is the most popular story arc in every Patreon poll. So we are the minority.
Complaining about it existing as an option, is no different than the people that show up to complain the NTR or Gay content existing. If you don't like it, it isn't for you. You don't ever have to participate in it. It is included for the people that do like it.
No shit it's optional. Do me a favor and point to where anyone argued otherwise? I know I don't have to do it. I literally said in my 1st comment that it doesn't affect me either way because it's not my cup of tea. I just found it weird. I don't care about who likes it or not. I don't care if I'm in the minority. I don't care that it's a popular story arc, because I'm not speaking for or against it's actual existence.
I just found it weird. Some other people found it weird. So people commented on it. How does you repeating it's optional or people don't have to do it. Change that? Again. It's optional? Cool. Do other people just magically stop wondering about it? Repeating it being optional or it not having to be done.... has changed nothing. You've done nothing except repeat a point nobody but you is arguing. And the point I made multiple times, still stands. It's weird....
