An impressive game through and through. One of the few games where choices can have far-reaching consequences.
After finishing the current content, I took a look at the code... And it looks like things could've ended much worse than they did. Still, poor Samantha.
Usually in non-harem games, I tend to be very careful about who to date. This game managed to bypass that reasoning entirely through its setting and framing.
It's set in the past, so it's easy to believe that whatever mistakes the MC made have no impact on the present. It also happens during a vacation, which has a certain connotation of having fun with temporary and casual relationships. And it's clear from the very start that the MC regrets making certain decisions, so I was less careful about his actions.
In the end, I picked Elena. But as Julia is in the picture, I'm curious to know what will happen to that relationship. For now, Julia is in a very rough spot because we haven't had that much content with her yet. If I had to pick between her and Elena right now, it would be an easy choice. I'm certain the developer is aware of this and will give us reasons to utterly adore Julia as well before a final choice has to be made.
I'll probably continue this playthrough until the game is finished, instead of restarting and checking multiple paths/completing the gallery. If I have to restart, I'd likely skip the FWB/relationship thing with Katy entirely, but otherwise I'm relatively happy with the choices I made.
