my question is, who do we shame about this?

For real ? With the Intellectual property and all... the AI is based on ?

Anything coming from an AI, isn't actual Art from an Human (even if it's inspired by it), and in the name of humankind, we have to distinguish it.

From now we still can, one day, we won't, so we have to put and agreed on rules for the day it come, for it may be sooner than we think.

And cuz if we live in a true "meritocraty", you have to put the credits, nor if it's a bot, the credits goes to it.

Ps : Why is it so hard to ask to not fooling people ? You put your advertising tag, you put your AI CG tag... End of it, no ?

If it is AI it looks like what a lot of artists do is use the AI filter over their own art to improve it, at least it doesn't look like the 99% AI slop on here that every single character looks the same.(1% is the ones people use the pixel filter to look like pixel art which is decent)
And no just because a hand or leg in the background isn't perfectly drawn doesn't make it AI. Look at old Marvel comics and artists that's how they do it, spidermans back fool just being a single shade of color with no detail etc

heres my save. tbh it was a lot of fooling around took me 1 hour to get here and there isnt gallery or replayable scenes butt when 0.3 get's released then u can continue from here

What a letdown to see that AI art infected this project. No one was playing it just for the story or gameplay so if things get any worse, it's basically sunk.

The artist is using AI Art for the backgrounds (that I looked at).

The icons are a mix-mash of AI, Hand edited, drawn from scratch[?].

The characters (that I looked at) seem to be cleaned up or hand drawn, can't tell - they don't look outright AI although some of the "wild life" objects are. Like the birds or environment objects.

None of those comments are based on "it looks weird / looks like AI" although in this case it's pretty obvious - my evaluation is purely based on the pixel distribution of the images. AI noise / desnoising leaves behind very distinct artifacts that are not coherent when your actually drawing strokes with a digital brush / line tool using a mouse or tablet.

The worst part is.. this is so easy to fix..! It's just laaaazy.

Hello everyone!

Our friend Mensh is about to release his game Sekira on Steam!

I won’t hide the fact that I’ve been involved in this project—you might have already seen his game on my Patreon because I helped him with one of the updates. Since then, Mensh's art style has improved significantly, and it was decided to create a sequel in the new style rather than continuing in the old one. You might have seen a post about the second part on my Patreon.

The first part of Sekira is complete, it has an ending, tons of content, and we’re planning to release it on Steam around May or summer.

I'm not Anti-AI, I use it all the time.
If I can't tell your using AI, that's as good as "you didn't use it at all" as far as I'm concerned.

I only care about the final product.
