For moving the windows, someone else already said something about in the other threads. For fullscreen, you can choose it. Look at the third screenshot and to the first picture on the top left. But anyway, unless this time Umemaro fucked things up (and I don't think so, since every other game from him has fullscreen), you need to move your cursor on the bottom of the "game/player" and then will pop-up several "buttons" other than where you see the current timeline of the scene. For the fullscreen, you need to click the square right beside the "X" red button.

Also, I believe that you're the only one who the windows open up to the side (unless happened to someone else here, but I don't know because I'm not a medium and nobody speak), because for me it opens right in the center of the screen.
